Helps the body
Honey has a mouth taste to the pallet. I actually will sprinkle this on a muffin. I might put it in some tea but it just tastes so wholesome I could get something really natural in your body.

Interesting Flavor Profile
Just received my honey. It is nicely packaged and comes with a cute magnet. I couldn’t wait to taste it so i opened it right away and 👅 the seal. I love molasses and could eat it by the spoonful. This honey doesn’t taste like molasses. It tastes like honey with a very earthy finish. It’s as sweet as the other honeys. I have a wicked sweet tooth. The earthy finish reduces the sweetness so that may be why other reviewers said it’s not as sweet. This is delicious and my new go to; a wonderful compliment to my Trader Joe’s chai. Oh, and word on the street is that it’s healthier than other honeys.

Deep, rich and flavorful
This honey is serious. It means business. It’s not some meek, innocuous sweetener, it’s got flavor and character! Kinda like molasses and very rich caramel had a baby. I bet it’d be great in gingerbread or pumpkin bread. I like it in bold teas. Or on its own to soothe a throat tickle. It’s my favorite honey. That’s why I buy big bottles of it! It’s assertive and I enjoy the flavor boost in addition to the sweetness it provides. All natural and a little goes a long way. It’s also sooooo good on toast with butter. Yum!

Great honey if they package it properly!
I have been purchasing this buckwheat honey for a while and it has a legit buckwheat honey flavor. Delicious. Typically it comes packaged in a gift type box with padding to keep it secure during the rough shipping process. This time, it was loose in a padded envelope. The lid was busted and honey had leaked out inside the envelope. It said not eligible for return and I had to go through an online chat with Amazon in order to get a credit back on my account. If it is packaged properly, it is worth the money. So good!

Pricey but soooooooooo good
I'm a bit of a honey snob having tried just about everything out there except Manuka and Tupelo. I was eating local raw wildflower honey from a dear friend who's a beekeeper but who passed away last year. Then I began buying what I was led to believe was local raw blackberry honey...until I learned it wasn't. I do believe it's best to eat local honey if you can....not only because local pollen offers the best health benefits, but because it's good to support one's local beekeepers. Sadly, all of our local beekeepers have now either retired or passed away. After reading about the benefits of buckwheat honey, I got curious....then hooked. Taste is subjective, but I really love this stuff. Buckwheat honey has a very rich, robust, tangy and distinctive flavor that's hard to describe, but one that I find incredibly yummy. Since I've so far only eaten Sandt's buckwheat honey, I'm unable to compare it to other brands. All I know is that I'm on my second order.
