Light-Up Magic Crystal Ball

Loud sounds worked well outside on Halloween! Nice fun prop!

It’s very lightweight because it’s cheap plastic but when it lights up it looks cool. But as the other reviews said, it’s way too loud. I even taped some item over the speaker and it is still too loud. Returning it!

This was sort of a last-minute purchase to replace a similar crystal ball we had purchased a couple years ago. It looks great out of the box and looks cool all lit up! I was worried it would look/feel cheap but it had a little heft to it and looks sort of "more expensive" than it is. That said, it's obviously not made out of metal and crystal or whatever, so I got a little nervous when one of my little kids grabbed it because I wasn't sure how it would hold up if hit the ground. But it's survived so far and is definitely a welcome addition to our other decorations! I think my only complaint is the sound it produces. I'm not sure if it was set to play too loud or if the speaker in it is a cheaper/smaller speaker but the sound kind of came out "static-y" if that makes sense? There was just something about the sound that wasn't super clean so to speak. Otherwise, great item!

One star because it does light up. Now the bad news: the base is black not silver like it looks in the picture. There is SOUND which I did not expect and did not want. Not only is it excruciatingly LOUD but very annoying. There is a HUGE seam in the middle of the ball and the ball was covered in dirt or dust or something when it arrived. Even after wiping it off there are still dull marks on it which won't come off. I am not returning it but I threw it in the trash and ended up ordering something else that is more what I'm looking for. My advice is don't waste your money on this as it is definitely not worth the asking price.

Was great for Halloween. Could do Without the sound.

We got this as a prop for a murder mystery dinner. My wife was a fortune teller and the crystal ball made her costume.

Exactly as described

This will be going back. We bought this for a halloween scene and discovered that in order for this to run, it also plays sound (and it is really freaking loud). Not what I wanted.
