These are heavy and sturdy. I've handled a hot grate from my charcoal grill and felt no heat at all. I was impressed. They may be made for welding, but they are versatile and good protection.

Gloves are fantastic protection from heat and fire! Heavy duty construction but still allow fingers and hands dexterity. Excellent cuff length for long arms. Finally, a product that appears reliable.

I bought these for feeding large reptiles as they can mistake your hand for their jumbo rat. Although they are a bit stiff these have been used successfully in this pursuit. I cannot speak how they’d perform in high heat situations but they are made very well and I expect them to last for years.

These are great gloves, much better than the thin cheap ones that came with our wood stove. They do run very large. My girlfriend and I generally take medium and large respectively (though sometimes I fit a medium better), and we ended up returning the medium and large pair of these to get a small because they were way too big. The small fits us pretty well. If you normally wear small gloves, I don't know what you do as their small will probably be too large for you. The size in the picture is small (and as you can see, they get used). I only gave 4 stars because of sizing. If their sizes were closer to standard, I would have given 5 stars.
