Incredible paper. Ideal for bujos- with one catch.
This book was made for bullet journaling. The back pocket, the two ribbon place markers, the numbered pages, the index, and two separate calendar sections- one in a list format that's perfect for a future log, and another in a larger, monthly format, ideal for things like birthdays & special events. The smoothness of this paper is incredible. There's no drag or skipping whatsoever. I have noticed a little bit of ghosting/bleed-through if I've concentrated a lot of ink in one area (Tombow dual brush and a Staedtler fineliner), but it's not severe- a tiny dot of each. I love that the dot grid is perfectly aligned- each page's dots are in exactly the same place, making it easy to create consistent layouts. If I have any complaints, it's that the paper is a cream color, and the dots are darker- not the white pages and faint violet dots of the regular dot pads. I'd really prefer to not have the visible dots in my finished layouts. If you prefer a completely customized bujo- making your own future log, monthly list, etc., and you find the darker dots problematic- then this is probably not the right book for you. If you like the ease of having the log already in place (and the pre-numbered pages), and the dots don't bother you, you won't find a better quality journal.

Is either a second or a knock off
I have several of these from other sources. I needed one more quickly so bought it here. The print is too light to see the dot matrix, the paper is thin, and the imprints on the cover are not as embedded. Ink shows through the page, which does not happen with genuine Rhodia goal books. Not the first time an order has arrived that was clearly not the quality expected here.

I'm Disappointed - Different Paper
I've been using Rhodia products for years now and the reason has been their paper. This is my 2nd Goalbook in my Rhodia purchases and the paper is different. It doesn't feel as heavy or sturdy, it's far more see through than my last Goalbook, the dots are WAY lighter, and the color of the paper isn't as cream colored as my last. I use a no-bleed pen, but suspect if I were to use a Micro or Staedtler there would be bleed through.I am pretty disappointed.

Did not receive the item I ordered
This is not a rhodia goal book. It says goal book nowhere on the product like the actual one does. It also has less pages than a goal book and does not contain the beginning premade planning sheets that a goal book does. This items description was completely misleading and caused me to waste my money.

Great!
I'm on my second Rhodia (and 3rd bullet journal), and first time trying the Goalbook after switching from Rhodiarama. The notebook itself is fantastic!, and perfect for bullet journaling -- I simply cannot recommend it enough. My only question is: was there a change in print? In my Goalbook (Right), the bullet ink is printed darker and bolder than in my Rhodiarama (Left). I personally don't like seeing visible dots, as it's distracting, but if the production change was made for environmental reasons, then I can live with it.

Ideal setup for the core bullet journal method
The good: Paper is fantastic, with minimal ghosting and bleed from fountain pens. Very smooth writing surface and pleasantly thick pages. Paper quality is leaps and bounds beyond my Moleskines. The setup is ideal for bullet journaling, with most of the index/overview pages predefined. This requires a little creativity in adapting the calendar if you start a new notebook in the middle of the year, but it’s an easy fix.The bad: The “leather” surface peeled off the corner within 3 weeks. I’m pretty rough on this thing, rolling and throwing it in bags, but I don’t feel that should happen. Also, one of the marker ribbons frayed within a few days and I’m struggling to manage it while still in the first 70 pages. It certainly won’t last through the remaining few months.Bottom line: I can’t find anything with a better setup for bullet journal organization.

Buy a Leuchtturm if you need durability
I have been Bujoing for years, but always used a Leuchtturm 1917. For 2021, I decided to branch out to see if I could find a journal that didn't ghost as bad.Pros: Like the Leuchtturm, it has a strap, bookmarks, and a contents page. Unlike the Leuchtturm it also has a calendar for Days and for the month. Since I include this in my Bujo any way, it was nice to see I wouldn't have to spend time creating this section. It also has extremely smooth pages. The numbering starts after the content and calendar pages which is awesome for my OCD. Haven't tried whether the pens will ghost because I'm not keeping it. See cons below.Cons: The cover is flimsy, cardboard, and is already showing wear from the strap and I just received it today. I use a pen case for my Leuchtturm's but cannot use it with this. As I take my book everywhere, durability is a huge factor to me. Even if it doesn't ghost, the quality of the cover is too low for me.

The perfect Bujo notebook
Rhodia have solved all my bullet journal woes!!I initially thought I'd bought the wrong product, but the Rhodia Goal book is basically the same as their usual dot matrix books but with contents pages and a monthly summary at the beginning all set up for you. It still has the great paper quality and high standards that I have come to expect with Rhodia notebooks. And it's cheaper?!Will be buying these ones always!

Nice smooth paper, but binding is poor.
This was my first time of using a Rhodia Goalbook as a bullet journal. The paper is good quality with a smooth coating (not actually great for coloured pencils, as it's slippery and many pens still ghost through) It is also very yellowy-coloured compared to the Leuchtturm notebooks I used previously. It will take watercolour although it does crinkle a bit. I bought a second one afterwards, but the binding split on the back cover before I was half way through and the pocket in the back had to be re-stuck several times as it kept detaching from the rear cover. Not what you expect from a quality notebook. I won't be buying a third one.

Great notebook. I love the quality of Rhodia paper
Great notebook. I love the quality of Rhodia paper. But I still like Leuchtturm better, as the pages are a bit lighter in colour and better with water-based markers. My mum however, liked the darker dots of the Rhodia more. I also appreciate the leather(ish?) semi soft cover. And I love the contrast of colours. Overall a premium notebook, in the range of Leuchtturm 1917 and Moleskine. The goalbook format is simple and perfect for bullet journaling.

Quality rhodia paper in softcover a5
Usual great quality rhodia paper which is very fountain pen friendly.Nice to have a notebook of this style and size without having the additional bulk of a hardcover like the hardback version of this and the other 1917 style notebooks, not having the additional bulk is useful when using in a notebook cover. Cover is still thick and sturdy enough to provide a good level of protection.

Rhodia quality paper and details
Bought for my self - the expected Rhodia quality. Soft cover. Great for a fountain pen user such as I am. Normally I have used the hardback Webbie but this goalbook has some useful details such as page numbering, index and perpetual calendars.
