Duck Brand Single Roll Write-On Freezer Tape, White (Pack 5)

No matter what you think you’ll remember putting in the freezer, it WILL become a mystery at some point. This labeling tape has been great in helping identify freezer contents. It sticks and stays on containers very well and this is at least the third roll I’ve bought. Two expert tips to share: 1) put the tape on before freezing or if you want to put it in something already frozen, set the container out a few minutes and wipe/dry the spot first; 2) after using frozen container, let surface come up in temperature before removing the tape. If you remove it too soon some pieces of residue might stick. It only takes a minute or two and is worth the wait.

I love this stuff, repeat purchase. It works great to label food containers for the freezer, son in law uses it on his handyman truck to label things that normal tape doesnt stck to in cold/ damp weather.

I utilize both vacuum sealing with plastic bags as well as wrapping with freezer/butcher paper and have been unable to find locally. Fortunately, this is available on Amazon.The tape is easy to tear off in lengths needed either by hand ripping or scissors and adheres to freezer paper quite well.I've pulled items from the freezer that have been wrapped for several months, and the tape is still bonded to the paper.If you do anything with freezer paper for storage, this tape is the way to go.

Does not stick well to a moist surface.

My husband is an avid hunter. After he got a tag to go Antelope hunting I immediately kicked into gear with trying to get supplies ready, I bought freezer paper to wrap whatever meat we got off the antelope and then decided we could use whatever tape we had at home to tape it up. Duct tape should work right? Nope, I was wrong! After thinking about that I wondered if it would hold up the temperatures of the freezer or if you needed special tape.I decided to try it out and see if anything worked.I put masking tape on the freezer paper and put it in the freezer and 5 minutes later went to go check on it and the tape had already peeled off. So I tried regular scotch tape and that didn't work either, I decided duct tape would do it for sure and after 25 minutes it was peeled off as well and to wet and frozen to stick to the freezer paper. I tried Duck tape with no success as well as Gorilla Brand Tape which all resulted in the tape coming off with in no more than 30 minutes. So I got onto amazon and looked for Freezer tape. I bought this and decided to try it. When it arrived I decided to put it through the same process and after 2 hours it was still on there. So I said well this has work. My husband went out hunting weeks later and we wrapped all the meat in the paper and put the tape on it with the date we got it. 3 months later the tape and the writing are still perfectly in tact and it looks great. I was very pleased with this tape and will buy it again after we run out.I now have started using it for my own use, I will make a batch of cookies or something wrap them up in the freezer paper and put the tape on and stick it in the freezer. Works like a charm! Highly recommend!

This tape is the perfect size for labelling items in the freezer. Stays stuck in the freezer...no curled up bits of tape on the freezer bottom anymore :)

Haven't used it yet but delivery was on time and it looks like other freezer tape I have purchased in the past.

OK but not as sticky as my old one from years back. Nothing seems as adhesive now as they once were - I expect that the chemicals they use are more carefully regulated.
