How to make a virtual memory card.
I have heard people say you can't use this as a memory card. I am here to set the record straight. You CAN use it as a memory card. You must have Swiss installed on your Gamecube. In the settings menu, about 3 pages in, there is a setting to enable a virtual memory card. This will allow you to use an sd card as a memory card through this adapter. This method only works when playing games through the Swiss menu. If you try to access the games through something like cube boot, the virtually memory card will not work. Only through Swiss is this possible. I have a 16 GB sd card plugged into this adapter serving as my memory card now and it has been working great!

For Homebrew, Not Game Saves
If you're thinking about using this as a standard memory card, don't buy this; it will never work this way, and you would be better off finding another solution. However, if you're thinking about using this to run homebrew from a microSD card using your GameCube, you won't be disappointed. I have tested it with the latest version of Swiss (I installed a soft-mod on my GameCube memory card), and it works very nicely; in fact, Swiss detected some MP3s on my 16 GB microSD card and was able to play them with no additional software. Using the same soft-mod and in GameCube mode, I tried using the GC2SD adapter with my Wii and it worked just fine there, too.Just don't forget to format the microSD card as FAT32 before using it with the GC2SD adapter.

It has RGB
The media could not be loaded. Works great and looks great! Didn't even realize it had a little rgb to it, matched my LED and fan mod perfectly! Thank you

They work pretty well!
I find these work pretty well, especially on consoles that don’t have an SP2 port. My only complaint is that these seem to be a bit more picky about micro sd card compatibility than the SD2SP2 adapters.

Not good for stock users
Yes its cheap but i would not buy this if you are thinking of using this with a stock wii or game cube since i wont work.

Works great for Swiss
Works excellent. I was able to load a SD card with Swiss and got everything running no problem.

Awesome product for retro gamers
I have not seen very many sd cards that are made in the 256gb+ range. This thing was exactly what i needed to resolve that issue being as it takes a micro sd card that simply plugs into it and it then plugs straight into my gamecube of wii. This thing makes life so much easier than the original low storage cards that i had. Started to order it elsewhere but shipping would have taken weeks. Bought it right here on Amazon and had it in 2 days..

Great for a custom GBI setup
I bought this specifically to use with the Game Boy Interface homebrew software, and it does exactly what it needs to do. GC2SDs have a multitude of uses, so if you're doing anything with homebrew, especially if you want to use custom settings, I highly recommend getting one of these.
