Product Defect, The gun safe lid won’t stay down. Is this true?

Just got this safe. You have to push the lid down harder until you hear it click/latch. I found that it would pop up if bumped just right or dropped if it isn't fully latched.

What are the inside dimensions?

Interior dimensions: 10 3/8" X 7 3/8" X 2 3/8".

I just purchased this safe, how do you secure the wire rope to something? Do you need a lock of your own?

Wrap the cable around something secure. Put the threaded end through the loop. Put the threaded end inside the safe, put the nit on the end of the cable, and lock the safe. I with I could show you a picture, but I don’t have mine installed.

Does this safe include the anchor steel cable?

There is no cable for tie down. There is a hole in the bottom that should allow for anchoring. I have included a video of another one of the same model that I bought that I have not opened as of yet.
