This journal is pretty awesome. I saw these at Hot Topic before and never got a chance to buy one. I’m glad I didn’t otherwise I wouldn’t have bought this beauty. It is what it is, the exact replica of John’s journal but with nice little touches. I read the journal and let me tell you, I’ve been a fan of the show but I never thought how bad the tragedy effected them. It feels so real too and there are extra pages to add your own notes or whatever you want. Anyways, this journal is pretty cool, I love it and I highly recommend this for yourself or another Supernatural fan.

If you are a fan wanting John Winchester's journal, this is a great way to begin. It's built and styled quite screen accurately, and just needs some 'aging'. As for the contents, the pages are just 'ok'. They are fun for a quick look, and some light cosplay, but there is Supernatural trademark info on the bottom of every page. Even the blank pages (of which there are alot of). But get creative, add your own custom pages, and you'll find this was worth every penny.

The photos I have posted are after I 'aged' the journal. This replica journal is an impressive collection of John's diary and lore pages associated with the television show. It's ideal for all fans, not just for the super-stans. Upon receipt of the journal, you will find the Leather 6x9 journal binder, the brochure of the mystery spot, Biggerson's, cardstock newspaper clippings, replica pages and blank pages to add your own entries. These items are included in a 'brand-new state; the pages are crisp and clean, as is the journal binder. My plan is to add some additional pages, clippings, and other replica items I purchased from Etsy, and I may add the pages from Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting. I distressed the included pages in an effort to age it like the one on the show. I used 3M 4-Pack 4.1875-in W x 11.25-in L Commercial Drywall Sanding Screen Sandpaper and a serrated knife first to roughen the journal edges. I brewed some dark, concentrated coffee, and applied it to the edges and the front and back of the journal binder. I repeated this process several times to somewhat darken the leather. After drying, I applied some bourbon to blend the covers into what I think is an appropriate smell. I then used For the pages I used the heavy grit sandpaper (somewhat carefully as to not tear them) and the serrated knife to further roughen the edges. I used some of the coffee to stain the edges and waxed the cover. As you can see in the photos I posted, it's not perfect, but I feel as is more in keeping with the show. I hope you will enjoy distressing your journal.

This is a great copy of the book. it is a really great gift idea for any supernatural fan. love it.

The journal pages that John wrote are beautiful and accurate to the show. There are plenty of blank pages for you to either create more monster pages or use them for convention scrapbooking or whatever else you want. There is room for another notebook to actually use this as a full journal. There is plenty of space for the cute cut outs it comes with but also for your own stuff. There is even a pen holder that can hold various sizes. Love this binder and totally worth it for huge fans of the show. It's not as worn as the one in the show but that'll change after heavy use.

I love this, looks so cool and you can set up everything how you like and move pages around. A good tip get some paperclips so you can put the news paper clippings and pamphlets where you like and make it personal and realistic. If your a supernatural fan then buy this hands down, no questions asked. Worth every scent, I would of paid $100s for this letter along $80. Like nike JUST DO IT

BUAH es que lo adoro, me encanta supernatural y todo lo que tiene que ver con ello, esto es perfecto, yo le añadi bastantes mas cosas pero quedo fenomenal. El diario solo queda un poco seco pero si le haces un poco de modificaciones como teñir el papel y cosas asi queda perfecto!
