Burley Design Travoy Wheel Guards

These are good, easy to install (life five minutes with an allen wrench) and do just what they are advertised to do. They also do not interfer with folding the trailer at all; it folds just as compact as before. They seem to be made of basically the same tough vinyl material of the trailer. The only I don't understand is why the Travoy doesn't include them in the first place?

I have two Travoy's and know what people are mad about concerning bag wear issues against tires. People have been improvising a solution and finally Burley has addressed this issue. I was going to rig something but after considering the cost and time I believe this is the best solution. I didn't like how Burley handle this because they should have given them as part of the original deal to correct an obvious fault in their design. It would have been nice to not have to pay $ 50.00 more dollars for two sets but I saw no choice. They could have provided them to existing customers and just charged for shipping but they obviously don't see it that way. Each Travoy has a serial number and it would be possible to confirm ownership. Maybe they will see their mistake by making us pay full price for something that should come standard with each trailer. I give it 5 stars because the design is good but if the review was about Burley I would rate them 2 stars for failing to take advantage of customer loyalty and provide them for little more than shipping.

I would give it five stars but, like other reviewers, I don't want to reward a company that makes us purchase a needed fix for an obvious design flaw in the Travoy. These guards eliminate the need to come up with a hack to prevent the wheel spokes from chewing up the bags that are custom-made for the Travoy. They work perfectly, are easy to install, and have a well-integrated appearance.

If you have a Burley Travoy you will definitely need these. They are totally worth the $25. Easy install and seem to be of good quality.

While not an absolute necessity, as there are other ways to prevent your cargo from touching the wheels, the wheel guards are highly functional and worth the expense. I enjoy my Travoy even more with them!

Simply put, the Travoy Wheel Guards should come with the fairly-expensive bike trailer. Especially since they're not a luxury add-on but are fairly essential to the proper operation and enjoyment of their excellent trailer.

Ich habe mir die Radabdeckungen gekauft, weil die Nylontasche im leeren Zustand oft an den Reifen gescheuert hat und ich sie nicht kaputt machen wollte. Genau das ist es was die Abdeckungen tun. Ich freue mich, das ich so die Tasche noch lange Zeit nutzen kann.

These guards stop awkward loads from snagging your wheel. I think they come as standard with Travoy trailers now, but mine didn't have them. I'd give it five stars if I hadn't needed to get them separately!

Der Schutz ist ein notwendiger Zusatz, wenn man Taschen transportiert, die etwas zu breit sind. Die Reibung der Räder an den Taschen konnte ich nie sicher vermeiden. Mit dem Radschutz gibt es keine Probleme mehr!
