Very well constructed, and very nice material. I used ot for the first time last night. It was very easy to set up, and even easier to take down. I only wish I had my sto e already to try the complete setup. I would definitely recommend for a good light weight hot tent.

So, overall the tent is solid, lightweight, and for the most part a good buy for a tent without a brand name. I used it Sept 23, 2023 in Algonquin park. Setup: easy Sturdy: very sturdy. Held up no issue once pegged into the ground and pole in place. Chimney setup for stove: very easy. I used a cot in my setup and it worked well. This tent is the perfect setup for a one man crew. Without the stove I can see it accommodating 2-3 more people. If I could have one thing - 2 way zippers would be better. Having to find an end in the dark is not desirable. For the price I suppose its a little complaint.

This tent is easy and fast to set up. Quality of this tent is very good. It's waterproof and very spacious and it's warm on its own but I also got a woodstove for this tent and it holds the heat well. I love the fact that it comes with the inner screen tent with a floor to keep you dry and bug free inner tent takes up half the floor space. It's not the lightest tent at 6.2 pounds but you can leave behind the inner tent to reduce the weight by a couple of pounds. (especially if you plan to sleep more than 2 people)

Update Review January 2023: I promised to update this review once I'd taken it out in the snow. I've just returned from an epic winter adventure with this thing and I'm quite impressed! For four days I had temperatures well below the freezing point. Sustained winds, white-out blizzard conditions and just a ton of heavy, wet snow-fall. Things I'm super happy about: ~Takes snow like a champ (with all guy-lines in place and snow on the skirts) ~Takes being iced up like a champ. Inside and out. ~Zippers work 'okay' in icy conditions but care must be taken at first.(This is why I wanted wider storm flaps in my original review!) Things I'm still not overly impressed with: ~The included stakes do not work well on frozen ground. I bent two before I swapped to heavy-duty ground nails. ~Ventilation is terrible. I had a fan in the peak sucking air in through the roof vent and even with that, condensation accumulation is killer. The only time the inner walls were dry was when the woodstove was cranking out heat. Is this just the way things go with these style tents? There ya have it. Its a small update. This tent has been a great teacher and I have since purchased the larger version of it just today after Purolator sent it to the wrong part of the country, lost it, found it again, delivered it but not really and...I had to pick it up myself from them. Please Amazon, stop using Purolator! Original Review Below: Does what it says on the tin (stuff sack?). Providing you read all the information posted and look at the included pictures, you shouldn't be disappointed. The seller does a great job of showing what you will be buying. Shipping was slow and required import duties. But I knew that going in. Product arrived in good shape. Pros: ~Neat stitching; no loose threads. ~Good job on the seam sealing ~Tent fabric feels durable while remaining relatively lightweight. ~Stake webbing is reenforced and seam-taped at point of attachment. ~Snow skirts have ties to keep them up when not needed. ~I can stand up in it! (5'4"). ~Stove jack needs to be cut to suit and has an additional flap of the same material. ~Comes with an inner mesh half-tent. ~Has two doors. ~The included stakes are decent! (Please note that at the time of writing this review, they have not been used on frozen ground) Cons and my wish-list: ~ 4 people can probably sleep on the ground in here (without a stove). 2 people can be super cozy together while running a stove (without the inner tent and bare-bones gear). I feel it is more suited to one person with the stove, wood supply, sleeping cot, general supplies and winter gear. ~Tough to properly ventilate; quite a bit of condensation build-up. ~The peak has great seam-tape yet it is not reenforced. I feel this will eventually lead to leaks or worse as there is a tremendous amount of pressure here. I would like to see some kind of padding. ~I wish there were hi-low guy lines. On slightly un-even ground, it's tough to avoid bowing of the lower tent walls. ~Two-way door zippers would be amazing. ~Thicker (wider?) storm flaps along the zipper path couldn't hurt. ~I really wish the doors would open the other way. I like the location, just not how they open. ~The inner mesh tent takes up exactly half of the space and attaches to the pole. When you open it, you have about 2 and a half foot to get in and out of it and I feel the pole is in jeopardy of being knocked out. I don't have a suggestion for this. ~A window on the wall with the stove-jack would be fantastic. I don't know what that would do for the integrity of it, but it would be nice to sit inside and appreciate all the nasty weather you're avoiding. Overall, it's a great little tent to learn with. I do wish I had ordered the larger size, but I was worried about my ability to keep it under control in adverse weather. I will update my review once I've taken it out in the snow. Happy hot-tenting!
