Can I connected it to my phone instead of using the remotes?

Not directly. I have a set used to let me know when my wife needs me. They are plugged into a smart switch which is controlled by my phone and will start blinking when the power is turned on to them. I have several sets of these lights and I think they are as cool as it gets. Each set came with its own remote, but all remotes seem to work with all lights as well. I find that in light fixtures that contain multiple lights, I must go very close to a specific light and point the remote at it to make the changes, one bulb at a time. That’s fine. If your light is blinking, I would first try it in another light fixture and see if it still blinks. With the power off, screw in the bulb. Turn power on and hit power on button on remote. Mine all came to life on the dimmest white option ( there are 3 for white). I than played with the random colors and the timer. I have left these bulbs in the fixture since Halloween. I just turn each bulb to bright white between holidays and colorful on demand anytime I feel like it. Play with the remote very close to the bulb. You will fix your blinking problem and have tons of fun. -JT.
