Very efficient, easy to use as a small waste bin, Sturdy quality, and strangely enough, it contains a lot!

We hung ours over a side cabinet door on the cook's side of the island. Our previous compost bucket was always on the counter - this is a much nicer location - it is smaller than our previous one but worth the extra trip to the compost bin periodically. It looks nice - easier to drop scraps down into it than when on the counter. The liner keeps the unit smelling better. Thought I would bump into it or the cabinet door would be hard to open - no problem with either. I wouldn't use the adhesive to stick it somewhere until you know that is where you want it. I like being able to take the whole thing down and wash it out.

It’s a decent size (8.5” long x 6” wide x 12.75” tall including lid) , removable bucket actually measures 8” x 10” x 5.5” (6.” X 4.5” at base). I filled the removable bucket and found that it actually hold 168 oz, or 1 gallon plus 1 quart and 1 cup. Looks cute, but doesn’t inspire confidence as it seems tinny at best. I will have to be careful so as not to damage it. The plastic hook that goes over the cabinet door allows a lot of movement, and I’m not going to bother with the stick-on hook as I doubt it would hold the weight of actual kitchen scraps. I will update as time goes by to let people know how long it lasts.

Firstly, I am always eager to write a scorching review when something is poorly engineered. I will point out every single flaw, suggest the responsible engineering team repay their employer anything they "earned" on what should be considered a completely failed project, and then go back to high school drafting, and possibly not progress. I have nothing whatsoever to complain about. I have no product design improvement thoughts whatsoever, and I don't believe that has ever happened to me).I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY. I THOROUGHLY EXAMINED, STUDIED, AND TRIED TO FIND SOME FLAW SOMEWHERE ON THIS PRODUCT. IT IS ENGINEERING DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION PERFECTION. And I can't believe I have to say that but these guys did really good. Read what it says it does it does what it says and it does it very very well. Yeah I'm just stunned I've had this for almost 2 months and I'm still amazed at this product. This is masterwork and it's just a food waste bin. The company should be really proud.

I was very happy when I received this bin. It is very attractive, sturdy, well designed, and much nicer than the plastic options. However, I could not get this bin to stay attached to the stick-on holder. The hanging option did not work as the hanger did not allow the bin to hang low enough to clear the top of my cabinet, so I had to use the stick-on option. Sadly, that didn't work either as the bin would not stay attached to the hooks on the mounting plate. Bummer, but I had to return it and choose an alternative stainless option.

So I was really busy moving in with 2 little kids when I realized my kitchen trash can was broken. I ordered this one and when it came it had a dent on the lid. Being too mentally tired from settling in, I decided to just keep it. Some days later the seller contacted me asking if there were any issues with the product as other customers had complained of damages. I told them that the lid was dented and they sent me a new one :)As for the product: I really like it. It works well. I wanted to put it inside my cabinet but that didn't work (see pictures) BUT ITS NOT ADVERTISED TO BE USED LIKE THAT and if I used the sticky pad to hang it, it probably will work fine. Also the bin inside it about an inch smaller on all sides than the dimensions provided but it's ok..it still fits a lot.

No where in their Amazon storefront nor on this product page is the contact information listed in order to co tact the seller!!!We loved this compost bin at the beginning The lid opens two different ways! There is an inner bucket that fits well inside the outer container so that bits and scraps do not get in between the two. But it cracked and had to be recycled. It can stand on your counter top or hang off a cabinet door! Expected odor escapes when opened. Almost one month to the day since purchase and the back side of the bin is rusting. So much for this being true stainless steel. I am disappointed to say the least. Also, trying to upload a picture but for some reason Amazon’s platform is not allowing me to do so. I keep receiving an error message “that didn’t work. Tap thumbnail to try again.” I do, but it doesn’t work. October 6, 2023- now edge of list is rusting. Inner plastic basket cracked and had to be put into the recycling bin. Now we are using decomposable liner bags. Meh. Would not buy this again.

I wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it is but that’s okay. We had to put it sideways in the space we’ve used for a kitchen trash can but I really like this trash can. The step opener works smooth and the lid slowly closes back so you don’t have to touch it at all which will keep it cleaner. The inside part comes out easily to clean. It holds regular 13 gallon bags with no problem. And it looks good. If you have a space issue, take measurements of your space and compare bc it’s big.
