I try to avoid prescription medications at all costs and stick to more natural and sustainable options. I had read about rhodiola many times and had been wanting to try it. I read reviews for different brands and this one seemed to have the best and most consistent reviews and still fell within my budget. So i thought I'd give it a try. I don't have any other brands to compare it too and there may be better ones, but this one worked for me. Yes, it's true, the taste isn't amazing, but if you've ever had to drink Barium (for an upper GI) or liquid laxatives (for colonoscopy), this stuff is a walk in the park. (Ashwaganda tastes worse, but still not the worst thing I've drank) Perspective! I don't take it everyday, but it works very quickly everytime I do. I take rhodiola in the morning before I eat and it truly does help me focus and gives me more clarity. I'm also less likely to take an afternoon nap as well. It does also suppress my appetite a little - which is cool, but not why I bought it. The dropper never fills up fully (about 1/3 full), so I basically use 2 droppers in a small 2-3oz glass of water (you could technically use more if needed). I chugg it and chase it with more water. Within 30 minutes i can feel the affects, but without a jittery feeling. Another bonus - I think it helps me to not be so agitated. It seems to last well into the late afternoon. I would not suggest taking this in the evening because it can have a stimulant affect and may keep you awake. My husband and I have both been enjoying it so much - that I'm already planning to order a new bottle before this one runs out. It is a new part of our life. We love it and will continue to use it. Def worth a try.

Not sure why “sheerness” is a keyword Amazon suggests I can mention, well mine is thick and not sheer really at all. I keep it stored in my fridge which seems to thicken it, but it is necessary once open to keep it fresh. This is a great brain defogger and pick me up, especially when my Fibro brain is really getting in the way of my day. Like someone mentioned it will not fill all the way so I use two dropper fulls. And strangely enough, I can actually drop this stuff into my mouth at the back of my toughest and chase it with water. To me that by passes the lingering flavor in the mouth, but for better absorption I can hold it in my mouth for a bit. Like another reviewer mentioned it is perspective, and compared to just some herbs and vitamins I have had to hold under my tongue for 30 seconds this is not too bad. Maybe I endure the weird flavor because it really helps me clear up, and focus more and it gives me a bit more energy then just my sublingual B complex alone. But this on it’s own it has still helped too even if I forgot the B vitamins but in my system they work the best together. Since I can not take many of the nootropic supplements due to migraines and IBS (comes with the CFS & Fibro this one supplement has been a lifesaver. I stay home with our 6.5 year old Autistic son who is also hyperactive and am trying to homeschool him at his own learning pace and style. I also am so grateful that this brand makes it alcohol free, because honestly that would burn my throat to take it the way I do. As for the flavor, hmm, well just like the secondary name sounds ( I believe it is latin) this product to me has a dry somewhat stringent rose like floral taste. However, as you heard me say my CFS/FIbro body is so grateful for it on those harder days I don’t mind. I just wish my Fibro would let me remember each morning it is there for me “everyday”! Hopefully, I can make it a habit as I can’t touch ashwaganda no matter who makes it:( As I have heard great things about the two together. Hoping this helps you on your journey too, take it in the morning on a day you can stay home is my suggestion to see how it effects you. I do find it lifts my mood a bit too without the heart issues that St. john’s wart used to cause me also which is great for many around the world right now.

I use to take this long time ago but from this brand natures way the store where I bought it took too long to order it so thos product is so good I looked for it on Amazon. What do I use it for? Simple I was getting depressed And I wanted to burn fat quicker being able to eat a few things I like . Taking rhodeola rosea has helped me loose weight like 3 days and I see the difference,I feel so chilled I can deal with stress much better keep my cool even be more understanding long story short in ordering3 bottles more so I will have a reserve my advise is buy it 1000% recommended

I understand that in Europe, this nootropic extract is associated with greater productivity in workers. I enjoyed a boost as well although I don't know how long it will last. By "boost," I don't mean any strong feelings or anything that would blow off my hat. I just noticed I was more confident, which makes it easier to perform at work. I take one dose per day rather than the recommended two.

The taste is kind of yucky but if you put in juice its fine. Otherwise works well for stress relief.

I love this stuff! I heard about rhodiola from someone who sells for one of those multi level marketing places. I figured it would be cheaper and easier to get it from Amazon. I will never be without it now. I notice a definite difference in my energy and mood the mornings I don't take it. It has an almost tannic taste (cheap wine, anyone.), but I just chase it with water. I actually hold it under my tongue for a minute or so, then swallow and swig some water to get the taste out. It isn't horrible, and it doesn't stick around. Anyways, I like the product and will definitely continue to buy it.

I really like these drops. I place it under my tongue for about a minute. They taste sweet but not terrible. I noticed improvement with concentration. I have more energy too. I have purchased them again.

I started with 10 drops and go up or down depending on how I am feeling and how my sleep is. This product is awesome for fatigue and is an adaptogen so it helps your body adapt to stress, so doesn't make adrenal fatigue worse. I think it can be used for anyone that needs help with energy, without the negative effects of caffeine or other stimulants. Very happy with this product and will be buying again!
