It does take some time to put together (took me about 3 hours but I was constantly interrupted), but if you've ever put any furniture together, you got this! The instructions aren't entirely clear and there is so much going on in the pictures that I missed seeing the number for the back board and had to disassemble a couple of pieces to place them and reassemble. The instructions are merely photos depicting the pieces and their corresponding numbers (no written instruction). Not a biggie...just frustrated at myself for not catching it. I also put one of the drawer rails in backwards and had to remove and reinstall. I thought I had installed correctly, by looking at the photo but the screw hole for the stay put screw were not in the right place to keep the drawer from coming off the rail. Again, easily fixed, just took a minute more. The doors take patience to align. I used the top left shelf as a block so I could stand up plates and not have them fall out when I opened the door lol. The cabinet added the right amount of color and a lot of character to my kitchen/dining area. I love it and am very happy that I took the chance on it. I was leaning towards the grey but loved the teal in the photo. I'm glad I went with the teal. I've seen other reviews that mentioned the smell. It does have a mild paint smell when you open the box but it wasn't overwhelming to me. Speaking of opening the box....this thing was really packed with a lot of styrofoam and I received everything in perfect condition.

This piece is gorgeous. Love the color. But man oh man. Let me tell you about the assembly. It was quite difficult. Instructions are pretty thorough except a few parts….. those few parts are important too. So I had to go back and redo a few things. Definitely takes two people and some drinks afterwards but so worth it.

It’s nice but it took me a long time to put it together. It’s for my sister and she loves it. It was a perfect gift for her.

I love this cabinet! We wanted something nice for our music and record collection. It is perfect! It took several hours to put together but we expected that. The teal color is really nice- kind dark with a grayish tone and not a shiny gloss. Almost looks like a built in next to our fireplace.

I wanted to love this. The color and style are beautiful. I could tell it wasn’t the highest quality material. But I needed to take it up two flights of stairs, so I chose this. After spending several days meticulously following the complex instructions and attaching the 100+ screws, I opened this door to put something in the cupboard, and a piece just split in half.

The instructions were under the last piece of styrofoam. Easy to read and assemble quickly.

Normally I try to avoid anything resembling particle board, but wood prices have been horrible. The cost for materials and the time to build (as a weekend hobby) wasn't acceptable for the need. After much looking we found this. Instructions were pretty simple. Building it was a little time consuming, though quicker then fabricating so fine by me. The veneer feels like there is some thickness to the material instead of just glued on paper. We did cut a hole in the backing behind the drawer to stick a surge protector as most of coffee makers couldn't reach a standard height plug behind the unit. The doors require a bit more time to try to get anywhere near uniform in look, and I will have to order cabinet buffers, the silicone ones I already had, make everything look unclosed. We weren't missing any pieces, and even though the box was damaged in some areas, nothing got through to the EPS to damage the parts within. It was the exact size as advertised.

I picked this buffet/hutch because of the size and color (turquoise). I like that it can be used as both pantry storage and a bar -- though be aware that there is a big hole in the back board to put electric cords through and it doesn't come with anything to cover it up. As other reviewers noted, it is very difficult to put together and the directions are not very clear. I hired someone to do it and even he had trouble - the cabinet doors still will not go on straight no matter how much I adjust them.
