Works Fantastic
Perfect fit to replace the struts on my Dodge Ram 1500 that had finally broken after years of use. Very easy to install, took a whole 5 minutes, and they work great. Actually they work better than the original struts that came with my cap. I will definitely recommend these to any of my friends who might need new struts on their truck caps.

Worked well on 2018 ARE cap on my 2018 Honda Ridgeline
I purchased these to replace my old ones that wore out on my 2018 ARE cap on my Honda Ridgeline. They were a perfect fit and were easy to install. I have only had them on for a few weeks, but so far they are working well.

Over-all good product
I installed them on a used ARE fiberglass cap on my Ford Ranger. They were easy to install and fit perfect. When I found them on amazon they listed different weight ratings and 30 LB was highlighted so I figured that was what was recommended. It seems to me that 38 LB is too high for my hatch. It takes effort to pull it open at first and also when I close it. For all I know maybe they will soften up over time but if I were to order them again I'd go with the 24 LB rated ones.

Purchased for truck bed shell. Extremely strong. Pops open back window hatch without a problem. Should last a long time.

Easy to install, Still strong 1 year later.
I bought these to replace the broken ones on my ARE truck bed shell rear window. They were quick and easy to install. After a year of use in the Arizona heat they still work great! In hindsight I wish I had bought some they were rated for less weight, because these are a bit too strong for my rear window. But that's my fault for thinking they would get weaker after a year of use.
