Mind Play: A Guide to Erotic Hypnosis

This is my first book on hypnosis, and without a doubt would reccomend this book.Pros: Everything is written so it can easily and clearly be understood. He gave plenty of realworld examples that helped with what little confusion there was. This also kept the book fun to read and just funny sometimes. Since he approached the topic from a more bdsm point of view, being safe sane and consensual was beaten in since page one. This will help both people have a more enjoyable time. One thing I was afraid of was it would mostly just be inductions, with little on what to do when the person is actually hypnotized. I was very very happy to find that not only was there entire chapters on how to word things and what not to do, but a ton of scripts for various things. A big thing that seems overlooked almost entirely everywhere else is how to actually bring someone of of trance. He actually include three scripts for that. The first was your basic, the second was awake with a happy ending (this is an EROTIC hypnosis book after all), and the third was a relaxing whenever the hypnotee wants to come out approach.CONS: Very few downsides I noticed. I got the kindle edition so there was a glitch here and there. Nothing serious, just the last paragraph of a page was repeated as the first paragraph on the following page every now and thing. There where some typos occasionally, but for only 10 bucks I can't complain.CONCLUSION: If you are interested in erotic hypnosis, or just hypnosis period, get this book. It is cheap and loaded with great info. Everything you want in a "my first hypnosis" book.

This book is the best erotic hypnosis book I've found. It's is a hypnosis primer for anyone who is interested in learning hypnosis and plans to use it for sexy times too. It's also a good book for anyone who is interested in kink and wants to broaden their menu options.Wiseguy, the author of this book is well known and well respected in the erotic hypnosis community. He is also a board certified professional hypnotist. This book provides readers with a lot of helpful resources. Additionally, it gives readers a good rundown of where a person can find like minded folks and how to become involved in the erotic hypnosis community online and in person.I whole heartedly recommend this book. If you are going to hypnotize someone for sexy times, you should make sure you know what you're doing. Invest in this book.

I'll preface this by saying that not everyone is going to learn hypnosis (or anything else) just from reading a book; but for those who do learn well that way, this is a good text. It's also quite entertaining.Mark Wiseman, or Wiseguy, is a practicing hypnotherapist who also has an interest in erotic hypnosis, and that is the topic he covers in this book. Even if you have no interest in hypnotizing others, you may find this book worthwhile for its entertainment value. For those who do want to learn hypnosis, I recommend this book as part of your study material. I began with this book, and have since bought DVDs, CDs and other books, as well as taking advantage of free downloads from the websites of reputable hypnotists, most of who work full-time as either stage hypnotists or hypnotherapists.No, you probably won't learn everything you need to know from this one book; but it's a very good start. Pay special attention to the section on safety and properly careful wording of suggestions.

The read was easy well thought out, and gave creative ideas as well as being constantly thoughtfulmofvthe one being tranced.

Im a beginner to EH but this book was highly recommended in the community to be able to learn and I feel like I have a much better grasp on what EH is and how to do it (safely) now! I would highly recommend this book to anyone just starting (and anyone else also) who wants to learn how to do EH! There are so many great examples to build off of and I feel more confident going forward. So appreciative that there are good resources out there for people to learn from!

Many people are probably wondering things like: "Can I do this?" and "Does it really work?"Using this book, the answers to both questions are: "YES!"I'm a professional hypnotherapist. It's what I do for a living. Even so, I read through the chapters that teach a complete newbie how hypnosis works and how to prepare to use it to enhance intimacy. They are well-written, thorough enough for bedroom use, easy to read, and easy to understand.The chapters specifically about erotic hypnosis are also great. They explain things well and the creativity Mr. Wiseman shows in some of the erotic applications is inspiring!My only lament is that this book didn't exist back when I was in college (we're NOT going to talk about how many decades ago that was) so that I could have read it and known what I was doing right from the start, without having to learn through trial-and-error.In short: Buy this book. Read this book. Use what you learn from this book. Start out slowly, and build on your successes. Then enjoy the enormous rewards of being one of the few people who actually know how to use the mind to maximize the intensity, pleasure, and sheer fun of erotic encounters!

It took me some time, but I found this book from an outside source. Well written, and full of good useful information. It does have some of the "typical" hypno book fluff. But, once you get into the meat of it. It truly is a book you'll want to keep in your library to reference. As a certified hypnotist, this is one of those books that I would be willing to pay for again and again. Mr. Wiseman has done a great job in organizing the various chapters to make it and easy, flowing, read. Would I recommend it? In a heartbeat.

Really informative and helpful but the author has some rather backwards views on trans people that come up and are rather jarring in 2018

If you're looking to step into the world of erotic hypno, this is a great place to start!It gives great mythbusting and background to hypno, safe play practices, how to structure scenes, inductions deeperners and suggestions, plus lots of examples (not 'scripts' exactly but script samples'Recommended for sure!

I tried reading a script from this book with little to no editing, and it worked like a charm. It not only explains erotic hypnosis quite well but it also provides you with solid examples of scripts that you can use when you're starting out. Of course you want to edit them sooner or later, but they're good enough that with a good subject you're gonna get some good results.If you want to get into erotic hypnosis this is a book I can strongly recommend getting.
