Wow
I did NOT see that end coming. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, NOPE! Good God. I went into this book mostly blind and it was recommended in a book group that I’m in. The only thing I knew was that it was erotica but…wow. It was sexy, it was fantasy, it was amazing. It was everything that I didn’t even know I needed. Well done!

Mesmerizing and cataclysmic *spoiler alert*
There may be spoilers in here so watch out.I totally stumbled upon this book by accident. I play a lot of those choose your own story books and ran across this one. It's been on my watchlist for a while and I waited until I was done reading others before I got to this one. And oh my God was I surprised! The choose your own Story is literally a smaller condensed version of this book. But you get to pick the reactions. I had so much fun with it! I was really hoping that there was a series of actual books that went with this after I played it. And how do I read the author's flip in the beginning (which I never read by the way because they're usually super boring and dumb) I would have realized that it was based on actual book. I never replay the books on chapters ever. But this one was so good I was going to restart the book. And when I did I read the author's bio. I realized that this great little game was actually a book and I was thrilled beyond belief! The only thing that I'm sad about was that 90% of the book was in the game and I previously read it all. So I went should the Kindle app store instead of replaying the book on the game and purchased the book. and I was not disappointed even though I basically read the whole book in the game. there were still a few things and details that weren't in the game that were in the book that were important that were great in filling all the little details and gaps. I could read this book over and over again and I'm not usually like that. It was that good! I really wish there was a whole series to keep going. I would really like to know what happens with Mona after all of this. Malcolm was such a strong character but he deserves to have his own book before all of this takes place. A mini one even to go through his life through his eyes and feelings. Or even a counter book of this one on his thoughts and feelings through this whole book. This book is literally every smut readers dream! Especially if you're into kinky stuff. The things that would make even a whore in church sweat even more. The things that you almost feel like you'll be struck down by a blaze of lightning bolt from heaven just by reading it. You feel like a sinner just for casting your eyes and reading the lines in here. They are erotic, shocking, overwhelming the senses... Cataclysmic rapture. Every woman's deepest darkest fantasies. The things that not even your dreams can make.On a different note, I actually learned stuff from this book too. Hard to believe I know! But the author really did her research and knows her stuff. At first I didn't realize that all of the paintings and artists were actually real. Once I actually bought the book and read it I realized that every painting artist was actually real. That is a lot of dedication and research just to make this book happen. You won't be disappointed when you actually go look them up. They're actually quite lovely. I've never been an art fan before but this is kind of changed my view of Art. Especially a portraits and paintings of things that might be obscure. This is most definitely the longest review of a book that I've ever left. I hope the author reads all of these.Mona and Malcolm's relationship is something to be envied. I think that deep down he really does love this new Mona. And the things that he does to avenge his deathbed wish is amazing. The story between them is fascinating and rapturous. The things that people are willing to do for money and then for love are insane. I love the fact that he did all of this to ready her for his grandson Spencer. And that he knew he needed to do all of this not only for himself but for her knowing that she needed it. And for Spencer and for their family to keep their lineage going. I really hope that there is a book about her and Spencer. I would kill to read it especially if Malcolm makes random appearances. That would be something!

Go into this book blind!! You won’t regret it!
This book confused me so much! LOL I went into this book blind and I’m glad I did cause I did not see the ending coming! At the beginning it seemed pretty straight forward, Mona agrees to let Malcom do whatever he wants to her for one year and he pays her to keep her mothers art studio open.As the year progresses the scenarios get more and more… interesting I guess is the right word. I don’t want to say too much without giving too many spoilers cause if you go in blind, it’ll be a good twist!I definitely looked up after finishing it with a big “what just happened?!” 😂All in all, I enjoyed it! Just an FYI, there’s not a ton of plot, but a lot of other things!

Don't overthink it and look up the art
I just...don't even know what I read. It was AMAZING and so so unique. I went into this story totally blind based on Bookstagram and was not disappointed at all. Go into this story with an open mind and let TIffany Reisz turn your world upside down. The whole time I was reading, I kept trying to figure out who (or what) exactly Malcolm is....is he a god, a demon, an angel? The reveal at the end surprised the heck out of me, so I won't spoil it for anyone, but I absolutely did not see it coming. Do yourself a favor and google image search the artwork the author uses to inspire the different scenes in this book, trust me it helps.

Debauched but not debased
It was a fascinating read, it was also erotic and quite a bit surreal. It was however very definitely worth reading, as you read you follow Mona Lisa St James on her journey with Malcolm. I don’t mind confessing that I couldn’t have done everything that she did but it was worth it in the end. I love the honesty of the whole situation, I agree entirely with the attitude about the job she takes on to earn the money to save the art gallery. Namely becoming a prostitute, society takes itself far too seriously and would look down on a woman for being a whore. It doesn’t take a genius to realise there wouldn’t be any whores if there weren’t any customers.I read the book on my iPad which gave me the opportunity to look at images of each of the paintings that were discussed in the book, it brought a wider understanding of the whole book. The only thing that surprised me was how long it took Mona to work out what was going on, but *shrug* that’s the way it was written. Tiffany Reisz, a romantic just like me...well mostly.

A bit too surreal
Oh gosh, where to start with this one! I absolutely love Tiffany Reisz, she's a brilliant author with a very vivid imagination. But I don't know whether I liked this or not. The overall story is a good plot and as always with this author lots of unexpected twists and turns. The writing itself is pure genius and creates a well crafted story which flows perfectly. However, some of the sex scenes even for this author (and Nora Sutherlin) were just a bit too much for me. Was there consent? I don't know. Usually with a story like this I would go back and re-read but I can't bring myself to do that - just yet. It really pains me to write this review as I love the author and would happily read a phone book written by her - but yeah, think I'll just put this one behind me now.

TErotic Dreams
Mona Lisa St. James makes a deathbed promise to save her mother's art gallery 'The Red' no matter what the cost. But the gallery is heavily in debt. It will need hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep it open and let it flourish. Then one night Mona encounters an anonymous gentleman in the gallery and unbelievably he offers to save The Red, if only she agrees to submit to his every demands for a year. With no alternative, Mona accepts his indecent offer and participates in a series of erotic fantasies. Each fantasy is rewarded with a promised piece of art which can be authenticated and sold. But how will this story end? You will have to read yourself to find out.

Promises but doesn’t deliver at all.
From the reviews you would expect a well-crafted novel rather on the naughty side, but unfortunately you don’t get anything close to it. Flat characters, one of whom clearly doesn’t give a damn about anything other than himself and the other whom can’t decide where they want their morals to be...awful, boring, crass and crude dialogue which is as sexy as a wet fish and certainly as cringeworthy as one...questionable backstory...I just couldn’t get past a couple of chapters. The premise is very good but it needs a far better writer to carry it through. This is my first experience of this author and I’m sorry to say will be my last.

Bitterly disappointed
With the apparently race reviews by papers, I thought this was going to be well written. A review on the cover reads "provocative" . The only thing I was provoked to do was to bin this load of rubbish. I admit that I couldn't read more than a third of the book before I looked for a decent book. The author failed to give any substance to the characters. The story is unbelievable on many levels and the supposedly sexual scenes left me yawning.
