Looking for advice on the best weight bar for a beginner in his 70s-all advice welcome

Hi, I would recommend as light as possible to get started, 2kg, 3kg as examples,,, this then allows him to get used to movements with the bar before adding any further weight (if needed, as he is also a beginner then you may not need to buy another for a while as depends on the movements you want to do with it as well).
