Create Your Own Flower Tarot Deck: A Complete Tarot Deck to Color

Absolutely Amazing! Kudos to Sahar!
I pre-ordered this deck for my birthday this year and was definitely NOT disappointed! This book is beautifully done. The colors are stunning all throughout and the cards are great! They are matte on the face side so you can color them and then finished on the other side to give them a glossy coat. The information in the book is not all inclusive, Sahar leaves room for you to do your own research into floriography which I'm fine with but the information that was included is great and VERY informative. Sahar included some great history about tarot in general and some information in the specific card meanings about what each individual flower and card means. Theres also example spreads, the classic three-card and Celtic cross with samples of the flower tarot included with the interpretation of the spreads to help new readers. Sahar really did a great job overall. VERY impressed with this set and I will be highly recommending this.

Pretty, but delicate
I love this concept and I love the art. Execution of product needs some work. The section of the book with archetype definitions is fine. The artwork is perfect for colouring: simple enough to be elegant, with enough detail to define but not overwhelm. The cardstock weight and way the cards are set into the book are problematic. The cardstock is lightweight bristol board, with a smooth finish. You will need markers or soft, high-pigment coloured pencils. Roller-ball pens will indent, thus "mark" backs making random picks pretty difficult once you know your cards. No water-based inks or pigments, they won't soak into the board, they will run off. You might be able to use pastels, but the spaces are small; my best advice is alcohol-markers (Prisma or similar brands). Crayolas will run. Bristol board doesn't take harder leaded coloured pencils (crayola, rose art, cheaper brands) well, so again look for soft-leads (Prisma, Faber-Castell, even Amazon's housebrand is pretty soft-leaded), but know you still won't get deep, bright colours, just paler fields. The cards come 4 to a page, with perforations to help "punch out" the cards. The perforations on the card borders and the binding are easy, but tricky, and if you aren't delicate and gentle, you will rip, thus "mark" your cards. I honestly would have paid the mark-up for already cut cards in a simple fold or slip box. They'd have clean edges, and I wouldn't be sweating anxiety while trying to punch out the cards.I understand this was probably done to cut costs and make it easier to be a colouring book for those that just wanted a colouring book, but the perforations are just soft enough that any pressure will break the perforation, thus negating the continuous page.Overall, a nice product. Definitely an adult project. It's not a colouring book in a traditional sense. It's definitely a good learning tool for a tarot reader. I'd recommend the purchase, but mind the caveats I explored above.

Misprint of King of Pentacles Card
As the previous reviews before mine, there is a known issue with the King of Pentacles having the incorrect flower description. It’s not a Houseleek as printed, but a duplicate of The Fool card as a Narcissus. It’s not worth the hassle to send it back, and other than this issue, the illustrations are attractive. This is why I did not give it 5 stars because it’s a known issue that Amazon and the seller/ vendor need to correct, or at least let people know when ordering a that there is a defect in the cards. I’ve posted pictures to see what I’m referencing to.

One misprinted card
This book is beautiful, the illustrations are lovely and delicate. The coloring surface is just about perfect, the backs glossy, the card stock nice and thick. I love it, seriously.HOWEVER.And this isn't maybe the biggest problem, but the final card printed, the King of Pentacles, has the same illustration as the first card, the Fool. It is labeled correctly with the houseleek, but the illustration is the narcissus.

There's a printing error
I'm hoping that the seller will see this and do the right thing. I was almost done coloring the set when I noticed that the King of coins card (houseleek) is incorrectly printed with the same image as the fool card (narcissus). If there is a misprint on the cards it should be listed as such! I hope that I received a defective set and that the seller will send me a new copy. As far as the cards go, they're just okay. It's painstakingly tedious to remove them from the book, and the card themselves are pretty thin, not at all like playing cards.
