Hi, the dimensions of this VASAGLE Console Table are 39.4”W x 13.8”D x 31.5”H (100 x 35 x 80 cm).

Q: How much weight can this item hold (ie tv, etc)?

I have a lamp and other decorative items on top. I would exceed 30lbs.

Q: Is the second shelving high enough for this to be used as a desk?

You can adjust the height with the adjustable extenders. In my opinion the width is not big enough to be used as a desk but it’s just comes down your own personal preference. It’s not sturdy unless on hardwood floors or prop on a wall.
