very nice pen. i did have to really push to get the ink cartridge to connect but that could just be my weak hands. so be aware, it really does work, you just may have to really give it a shove.

I wanted to try out a fountain pen for various reasons. I should not have picked this one. It doesn’t have any directions. It took me 5 minutes just to figure out which end was the top and take the pen cap off. I watched multiple videos on how to fill it up, but whoever you do it it’s not any of the methods found even on guides that claim to cover all methods! At this point it doesn’t work and there is a random spring I don’t know where that goes anymore. I am not a stupid person I passed the bar exam ffs. I have to say this is one of my worse ideas. I regret this so deeply. Do not waste your money. Unless you actually know how to use this specific pen type go with a different pen.

My first ever fountain pen, never knew writing could be that smooth! It comes with cartridges and converter, very convinient. Nothing to complain about for the price.

The pen I received had a particularly bad nib. I put in a nib I had lying around, and now it writes well, but I still would not recommend paying full price for it. The barrel is plastic, but it has a coil of steel wire inside that adds mass without strength. I’m not sure why you would want the weight of a metal pen with the durability of a plastic pen as that seems to be the worst of both worlds. I bought this on sale for $6, and that is probably a fair price (if you get one with a decent nib), but I would recommend looking at Pilot, Jinhao, HongDian, or Picasso for better pens that are close to this pen’s regular price.

I should have read the reviews. No instructions, and I am returning this.
