It appears to look like milk glass, and as the hours pass, it becomes more transparent. It’s very comfortable to wear due to the material molding effortlessly to your face shape. I have a large oval shaped face with large eyes and full lips. The eyeholes and mouth hole gave me plenty to room. I was drinking tea with it on easily, and can read without my vision being distorted.
