My budgie loves it!
I’ve been using this light for a little over a month now and it’s been great! My cage wouldn’t really work with the way it’s meant to be mounted, so I used some Velcro to hold it to a shelf I have above the cage instead. The pic makes it look more blindingly bright than it really is. It is pretty bright looking directly into it but it makes a nice, natural looking light. A diffuser would probably help but my bird hasn’t had a problem with it. I have it on a timer and it’s really helped him get on to a schedule. Every night when it turns off, he knows it’s time for bed and will run up to the perch he likes sleeping on.

Excellent product
I bought this light for my canary and use it with a timer. I've noticed that my canary is more active and vocal since adding the light. It was super easy to install and I haven't had any issues with the birds chewing on it. The only drawback is the price.

Bird light
My bird was picking feathers to the point of bleeding. Since I got this, it appears the feather picking is greatly reduced

Super white light, don't think it'll work for me, but seems well-made
*FYI* if you have a parrot that chews on stuff, look for the other listing of this light that comes with better cord protection for hookbill birds (I didn't see it until after I received this but it's a much more attractive solution than my usual PVC pipe protection is.)My green cheek is out of the cage all day, spends plenty of time in the windows, and I take him out as much as possible when it's sunny--but I still worry that it's not enough light, since I live in Seattle and we have so many partly cloudy and overcast days. When I bought this, I wasn't expecting some huge difference in behavior, maybe just to help normalize his light schedule a little during these super short winter days.Unfortunately this light is suuuper white, and harsh blue-white lights tend to give me a headache. Because he hangs out right next to where I work, it's pretty hard to ignore if I want it to be somewhere he gets any use out of it. If you leave your parrots alone during the day while you go to work I'm sure it'd be fine, but I think I'll have to return it and figure something else out, like a clamp lamp so I can better aim it out of my peripheral vision. The other con is I really wish it had an on/off switch. Since I haven't wanted it on first thing in the morning, and I visit my sister a lot so am out of the house for days at a time, a timer plug-in would be a hassle, plus an additional expense.

Kakariki
The only thing I don't like is that it is not easily turned on and off. No off/on switch. You really need a timer, as suggested by the manufacturer. I had my Kakariki a week + before the light was received. I noted a difference with Olive once the kight was set-up and on. She seemed happier. Lighting is imperative for your bird. The rays they need do not penetrate glass. I will be purchasing another one for my Gouldian finches.
