I bought a Tesla Model 3 about 6 months before we got a dog. Bad move, as there is nowhere for the dog to travel in the rear like in a hatchback. Started off with an open box type carrier, but the dog could reach the door panel and window, and both started to suffer from scratch marks. Honestly considered changing the car before I found this carrier. We have a 7.5kg Cavapoo who fits the carrier with ease, with plenty of room to sit/stand/lie. We put a suitably sized washable dog bed in the carrier for comfort as the supplied base is not very snuggly. The carrier has a steel frame which is very robust and the seat belt and front headrest straps hold it in place solidly. Note: I read a review somewhere where the dog chewed through the seat belt. If you install the seat correctly, this is not possible as the seat belt should pass between the outer and inner "skins" of the carrier. There's a slight question mark over long term durability because the covering fabric is like a mesh which could be vulnerable to catching on claws and/or teeth - but so far so good. Removing the carrier is pretty easy, as it concertinas up and stores away neatly. Very pleased with this carrier. The dog seems to be happy in it, and the inside of my car is protected. Was wary about spending this much on a dog carrier, but I can now say it was fully worth it. The way it secures itself inside my car is brilliant. Its sturdiness really allows my dog to be able to relax and enjoy the car ride. I love that my dog can finally look out the window during the drive. He's a nosy dog and he wants to see everything all the time, but he's not great at keeping himself safe; sort of a "do first, think never" kind of dog. This is a great way to keep him safe while he still gets to see everything. The size is great for medium sized dogs. Lots of room to stretch out and change positions for lying down or watching out the window. I haven't cleaned it yet, but I love that the pad has a removable washable cover. Really understands the needs of the user. The way the side zips off like a door is great for having my dog easily jump up into the car. Lastly, this thing just looks smart. Really nice classic design. Clear that consideration was given to ensuring quality and functional design for this product. A lot of brands cut corners, but I can say I haven't seen any cut here. I highly recommend this if you're considering getting a carrier for a small to medium sized dog.

This has been worth every penny for my escape-savvy dog who's a nervous traveller. It's so secure and doesn't move around at all, which has clearly made him feel more safe, settled and calm in the car. The only thing I don't like about it is the drawstring feature that allows you to give treats/comfort by popping your hand through the hole; while I appreciate the thought that's gone into this feature, I do feel it could be dangerous for smaller dogs who may pop their head through once they figure out it can open. The carrier is also quite high, and does slightly obstruct my car's rear window and rear passenger window. I still feel it's perfectly safe to drive with, but it would be great if there was a smaller size available to choose from. All in all, this has been a brilliant purchase!

Very easy to install I have a 2 door car But put it behind drivers seat and would be easy to get dog in and out . As zip part is on both sides which is good , very sturdy and dosnt move once seat belt and head rest clipped in which is what u need . It is high but as u can see I can still see out bk window , bigger than thought so plenty of room for her to move around .

We bought as our dog wasn’t getting on in the boot of our car and destroyed the boot liner and seemed to prefer sitting in the back seats. We bought this to ensure he was safer in the rear seats. Highly recommend as after 6 months he still hasn’t destroyed this product and hasn’t tried. It was super pricey so was a bit nervous to pay out that sort of price, but so glad we did as it solved our issues and that’s priceless. Although I paid £130 at the time but it looks like Amazon has raised the price significantly. I’d wait till there is a discount applied!

There were some delivery issues that were sorted once I contacted the seller. The crate is exactly as described (maybe even better). I was concerned whether it would be big enough for our 17kg Border Collie so I took the photo - I’d set it up in the house for her to get used to it and she went straight in as her sleeping spot of choice. There’s lots of room for her to sit up as that’s her favourite way of travelling and I love how securely and easily it fastens in the car. Definitely highly recommend.

It is abit taller than I expected. So it does block the back window slightly. Other than that, it is really good. I was deliberating whether to get it because I’d the price point, and am so glad that I did. The material is of good quality. Both my dogs are able to fit inside comfortably, and they love it! Very well ventilated and they can look around. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Tolle Box sehr zu empfehlen. Wir fahren viel und unser Hund ist nicht begeistert, hat keine Angst aber neigt dazu durchs Auto zu rennen. Das passiert hier nicht und sie kann zur Ruhe kommen. Aufbau und Anbau ist super einfach. Sowie die Sicherung des Hundes.

My small dogs are true escape artists and adventurers. I've tried countless solutions to keep them safe during car rides, but nothing worked. Traditional booster seats failed to contain them, and one of my pups chewed through the lead. With my dogs ranging from 16 to 20 pounds, they were small enough to wriggle past most barriers I tried to use to separate the back seat from the front. To my amazement, one of them, a crafty Jack Russell mix, even figured out how to unbuckle the seatbelt restraint I had tried for both of them. In short, I have brat-dogs. I needed a brat-dog-proof solution to my problem. I was almost ready to give up traveling with them, but I stumbled upon this intriguing carrier. I thought, "Why not give it a shot? After all, Amazon has a good return policy." First and foremost, this crate is quite spacious. I drive a Corolla, and while I can fit it in the backseat, it does limit the front seat's ability to provide leg room when positioned behind it, causing the seat only to scoot back halfway. However, the snug fit does add an extra layer of security. If you're tall, I recommend you place it on the passenger side to avoid discomfort during the ride. On the flip side, it works exceptionally well in my father's truck. His 4-door Tundra has ample space in the backseat without compromising the comfort of those riding in the front. Just a word of caution - it won't fit in a front seat due to its size! Quality-wise, this crate is top-notch. It's not constructed from flimsy plastic but boasts a sturdy aluminum frame. As mentioned earlier, it's roomy enough to accommodate a larger dog, although it works perfectly for my smaller dogs when they get along. The crate features a robust zipper that opens from either side, allowing you to install it on your preferred side of the car. The mesh windows are a thoughtful addition; they're durable enough to withstand my dogs' curiosity and provide a clear view outside. Moreover, there are small hand openings on either side of the crate, so you can keep it securely closed or open it to scratch your pups or offer treats without risking a full-scale escape attempt. However, if you have a tiny dog, exercise caution. My 16-pound Chihuahua mix immediately tried to stick his head through the hole, thinking it was a way out when I first introduced him to the carrier. One of the standout features of this carrier is the safety and security it offers your furry friend on the road. The crate is securely fastened to the seat using the seatbelt, and its well-structured design provides additional protection, ensuring your dog's safety during the journey. Lo utilizzo in macchina ed è proprio come lo cercavo, ho un levriero quindi piuttosto alta. Riesce a starci sia in piedi e guardare fuori dal finestrino che sdraiata e nonostante tutto occupa il posto di un sedile. Ora posso viaggiare in sicurezza con cane e bimbo nei sedili posteriori, un po' caro ma lo straconsiglio! Prossimamente lo proverò a mettere su un carrellino per utilizzarlo anche in bici
