The newest M.2 2280 PCIe SSD from XPG, the SX7000 delivers massive speed for gaming notebooks and high-end desktops. Utilizing the super-fast PCIe gen3x4 interface, the SX7000 reaches extremely High speeds of up to 1800/850MB per second (read/write), outperforming SATA 6GB/s by a huge margin - several times over, with NVMe 1.2 qualified, the SX7000 delivers superior random read/write performance and multi-tasking capabilities. It implements 3D NAND flash, which provides higher storage density and reliability compared to 2D NAND. With support for intelligent SLC caching, DRAM cache buffer and LDPC ECC technologies, the SX7000 maintains optimized performance and data integrity during even the most intense gaming, rendering, overclocking, or other high-demand applications.

I would stay clear of this drive
First one received was DOA, showing as 65000 degrees temperature and failing the ADATA software health checks. Could not run software firmware updates because it claims my system is set in IDE or RAID mode which it is not. Second one passes health checks and runs ok, 600/300 read write is 1/3 the advertised speed. Asus B250m-a motherboard with latest BIOS and it worked fine with a samsung EVO at full speed. Can't tell if this is just a bad batch or not compatible with my board. Neither Asus support or ADATA have replied with useful info to assist me with this. SATA is disabled completely in BIOS and the drive is set as PCIE with AHCI and not RAID/IDE as the software claims so I still cannot update firmware on this drive. Disappointed.

Mine ended up being a dud...but...a little cleanup and it's fixed
Update: 11/27/2019I was able to remove the top "heatsink" and found that some of the sticky material was stuck to the circuit board itself. Cleaned that up and put it back on and the Stick works just fine now. Not sure how or why that affected it, but I've had it as the boot drive for a few months now no problem. Updated to reflect a more accurate score.Mine was crashing my system within a week of install. The reply from the manufacturer was ok, and they were willing to help, but I just purchased the 256 WD Black since this wasn't too expensive of a loss. I haven't had any problems with the WD since installing in my HP Envy X360 w/Ryzen. I went ahead and threw this in a mini w/10 media box just to see and it crashed that as well. Hopefully it's just a dud and not a common thing.

Mine has severe write problems
Read speeds on the drive are great - better than any SSD in my system (and I have 4).Writes are terrible. Intermittently after writing large amounts of data it starts to "stutter" - write latency to the drive goes WAY up and I end up being unable to write faster than maybe 5MByte/s. Only seems to happen after writing out a couple GB of data and happens independently of Window's write cache (although it does make it harder to see the problem). I don't have this issue with other drives.Assuming my unit is faulty and not everyone will have the same problem, but pretty severe one. At least most of my workloads are reads.

Die after one month of use
It is a great price for a budget built and orginaly great with windows 10 . The boot times was super fast but after one month of use bios gave warning of SSD failure and now is completly dead. Currently in the process of a replacement with ADATA since they advertise 5 year warranty.

False advertising for 128gb.
It’s false advertising for the 128gb. The speeds are only up to 600mps which it’s listed on amazon at 1,800. It looks nice and works fine. Thought i was getting a good deal but i could’ve bought a 2.5 ssd with more storage for the same price and speed.

ONE TINY POWERHOUSE (Boots in seconds)
First off, I wanna say that this M.2 is quite the looker. The red heatsink looks beautiful and has a nice finish. The unboxing experience was unique compared to all the other components I unboxed to build my rig; which used this little devil. The box looks unassuming at first, just good graphic design at first glance, and then wouldn't you know it, it has a magnetic flap which reveals the SSD in all it's glory behind a nice little viewing window, encased in protective foam. Installation was a breeze and really brought my build to life.By the way, here are the components I used in the build that involved this great SSD:Case: Riotoro CR480 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016ENWHH0/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2SB4N5Q3WJBY1&colid=3G17F52RJ4KDA&psc=0Motherboard: MSI A320M Gaming Pro https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071XPTVGR/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2V0DSLXCHRUOB&colid=3G17F52RJ4KDA&psc=1CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XKWT8J4/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3SGC39MIEFGFY&colid=3G17F52RJ4KDA&psc=1GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon R7 240 (I know, not the best, but it's just a placeholder for right now)Additional Storage: WD Blue 7200rpm 1TB https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Cache-Desktop-Drive-WD10EZEX/dp/B0088PUEPKRAM/Memory: 8gb DDR4 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 Speed (Red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9E5DPN/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1A8ETC97N9X2S&colid=3G17F52RJ4KDA&psc=1Power Supply: EVGA 500B https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DZ6R9GE/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2XQQY6VN6WHW&colid=3G17F52RJ4KDA&psc=1Wi-Fi Card: Rosewill Wifi Adapter https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Adapter-Wireless-Network-802-11AC/dp/B01JUCUMBK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1512192164&sr=8-3&keywords=rosewill+wifiWhen I finally got this build up and running, I of course installed Windows 10 on this SSD, which I thought wouldn't do much, as I had only used hard drives prior to this build. Let me tell you, using an SSD makes a whole world of difference. This build starts up in about a couple seconds and that just blew my mind. Comparing it to my HP Envy 17 inch laptop with an i7 (which I thought was lighting fast before) is like comparing a cheetah to a turtle in terms of booting up. On the first few start ups, I had to time when I hit F2 to enter BIOS, because it's just that fast. Loading up programs is fast too. Chrome pops up immediately, as well as Overwatch. In short, adding this thing to a potential rig's part list is a no brainer. It's pretty, it runs fast, and it annihilated any doubts I had. I definitely plan on buying it again for any future builds that have M.2 slots on them. I recommend buying a hard drive though, as this little thing fills up fast. I suggest installing your most used games and applications on this. If you're a creative like I am, also install your Adobe products and other creative software on this little guy. It will definitely cut time on the dreaded load screen.

ADATA GAMMIX S10 NVMe 1.2
