日本語レビューが無いので初投稿。 外国の方のレビューしかなく、日本語訳した所『5.7リッターV8エンジンノタンドラニアウヨ！』との事だったのですが、適合するかどうかいまいち不安なまま勇気を出して買ってみました。 結果的にピッタリでした。 フィルターを差し込む筒的な奴がタンドラ用のフィルターにはサイズが足りてないので、その筒的な奴を元々使ってた物と交換しなければなりませんが、それも爪二本マイナスドライバーでクイッとやればすぐに交換できます。言葉では説明しづらいけど実際にやるとシンプルです。 元々付いてたハウジングが樹脂で出来てるため、ネジ山がナメっててトルクがかからなかったので、オイル漏れを起こすのではないかと冷や冷やしながら乗っていましたが、解決しました。 最初から樹脂なんかで作るなよ世界のTOYOTAさん、、、、、ただでさえ昔の使い捨てオイルエレメントのが楽だってのに、、、、、

I am a retired service tech and my grandson is just beginning his automotive tech career (this makes me proud). So lets talk about this ridiculous fear out there concerning those of us that have the factory plastic filter baskets. My grandson probably services10 Toyota vehicles a day (out of the 30 plus vehicles a day at his shop). He personally drives a lexus ( I drive 4runners ) he has more faith in the plastic baskets than the aluminum units. Yes the plastic ones hold up better to abuse and are less prone to cracking when basket teeth are busted off due to difficult removals. I had this fear as well when browsing all the Toyota forums. This makes sense; why would Toyota put a substandard plastic oil filter basket in their premium off road vehicle. I now have this aluminum unit but am careful with it. My original plastic one (now a spare ) is in perfect condition. So if you have the plastic unit; keep it! If you need a new one then this one is a fine replacement.
