Nice Compact Unit. Tricky Reset Button
Installed this transformer with Wi-Fi two days ago and it is working great. The RESET button is a key part of the setup and the Dewenwils instructions fail to tell you to use an object (I used a pen retracted) to depress the button so that it activates. Using my finger didn’t work, but thankfully there was a very helpful review that pointed this out. Once I used the pen to press the reset button, I connected it to Wi-Fi in a couple minutes. The app to control it is fairly simple, but know that Dewenwils uses “Open” for “On”, and “Closed” for “Off”. Better directions works have saved me some research and headaches.

Worst interface ever
Bought this as a replacement to control existing lights. Connected smoothly to WiFi and set up was fine. Problem is in creating and running a schedule to control the lights. The developers clearly are not English speakers or they simply don’t have anyone on the team during app interface design. To schedule a light to go on the app lets you choose times-and the lights in fact do go on. However there’s no obvious way for the lights to turn off again with a schedule so I’ve had to manually turn them off now daily. Perhaps I’m missing something but regretting this purchase and probably going to send it back.Do not order

Dewenwils 120w wifi low voltage
Works well, check your lines if you get an overload message in the app or on the system. I have 3 separate zones or lines and one of them it appears some critters were chewing through, and my system stopped working.

Good once set up, but ...
I bought this unit for its app control and I only needed a maximum of ~75 watts for the new small deck area we built. It has pros and cons, naturally, so here are a few.Dimensions: This 120w unit is lighter and smaller than another unit I was looking at in a big box hardware store locally. This is a pro for placing the unit but it may be a con if your power needs come close to the rated 120 watts. The heaviest part of these units is the transformer itself - the more power you need, the heavier the transformer coil inside must be. With it being so much lighter, I wonder how well it will actually handle the rated wattage if your demand comes close to the 120w rating. It's plenty for my needs but I would recommend making sure your total wattage needs leave at least 10% of headroom for safety and product longevity.App Set-up: A few points here:1. The printed and app instructions have some simple discrepancies. For example, the app tells you to look for a flashing yellow light when connecting to your WiFi. There is no yellow light. Only one green and one red. The green light flashing is what you are looking for.2. The reset button is important during the set-up and it is easily identified on the face of the unit as the small round rubber coated button. You can depress it with your finger but that will not actuate the reset. Use something decent sized and blunt (a ballpoint pen with the pen retracted works well). Even with that you can miss the actual button underneath. The reset button has a very noticeable tactile and audible click when engaged so you will know when you have actually triggered the reset and not just depressed the rubber without resetting anything.3. The WiFi works very well. I set this up in the house before installation and while the process is not entirely intuitive, once set up it quickly reconnected to the WiFi when installed outside.4. The app has some language to get used to - undoubtedly a translation issue. One of the funny things with setting up the on/off schedule is that it doesn't show On or Off. Instead uses 'Close' or 'Open' which is 'open' to interpretation! I remember my Italian relatives not turning the lights off and on - they 'closed' or 'opened' the lights. Conversely, if an electrical circuit is open it is not connected, so it is off - a closed circuit is on! I did the schedule yesterday using a circuit logic since this is an electrical circuit which didn't work, so let's see if it works tonight like an Italian light switch!Ultimately, I am sure this will work fine for my needs and better with an app to manage it with but be sure you buy a unit with some extra headroom above your wattage requirements.

Replaced a noisy transformer in my garage
My house has landscaping lights on the front sidewalk. The existing transformer in the garage was very loud and made an annoying buzzing sound when the lights were on. This one is silent. It was easy to plug in, connect to the lighting, and integrate into my home management app. When the one outside fails (for the flagpole), I'll be buying another on of these.

Works with Alexa Routines!
I wanted a transformer that I could schedule to come on at sunset and go off at a specified time. The app for this product only allows specific on/off times, but I was able to use Alexa Routines to turn on at sunset and off at 1am. This means I won't have to adjust the on time as the seasons change.Easy to install, and we'll made.

Misleading Description
I was able to link this to alexa but this is not what I was expecting. I would have been better off buying a dumb switch. Has to give my email to China in order to set up. Instructions on app are out of date and make no since. The lights on the front of the controller are way too dim. I was in the shade and could barely see them. Yes it turns the lights on and off. No it isn't ready to deal with. Sending it back and going to lowes for a dumb switch.

Good until it broke within a year
I have three transformers for different areas. Two are 120W; the other is a 200W. All are Alexa enabled, and all worked well for a time. All are also housed underneath a covered overhang so they are pretty shielded from the environment for outdoor rated products. I bought the two 120W transformers first. They were set up on the denwilis app. This app was nice, easy, and had some neat features. The 200W had to be set up with the Eco Plugs app which is garbage.I am concerned about longevity of these products. One of the 120W transformers has already shorted and no longer works. I am trying to contact the company but so far nothing.
