Generally this mount works well. I like that holes are all in vertical line making it easy to attach to a stud. Extension piece is slightly off center, but can be compensated by adjusting the hooks. holds a 40 lb bike fine. Basically good unit, but there are better and more expensive ones out there.

Ordered this as I don’t have a very big garage to keep the bike just standing and decided to hang it on the wall to save some space. Very easy to install, not too bulky and holds the bike in place very well. Great purchase for the price.

It seems great for road bikes with narrow handlebars. I don't recommend this for mountain bikes with wide handlebars (760mm+), your bike will hang very far from the wall and it doesn't seem strong enough when fully extended to last a long time, I see bending of the metal on the first day. Would recommend a pedal style mount instead.
