Glad I bought these coin batteries for my 2016 BMW X3 key fob!
Both my key fobs required battery replacement. The dealership wanted to charge me $29 to replace the battery on one key fob. I decided to look at a youtube video on how to replace the battery and which type to buy. Ordered these CR2450 3V (made by Sony - same as the original battery in the key fob) after I learned how to open the key fob and confirmed that these are the right coin batteries. I save a lot of money by changing the batteries myself (about $2.50 a battery). I tested them and happy that they work.

Perhaps that is unfair to the product as maybe what they are trying to power sucks a lot of energy. Not sure.

These Worked!
About four months ago my wife ordered some of these wafer batteries (CR2450) of Chinese brand, from Amazon, for the two remote FOB s for her BMW because the car was telling us that one of the remotes needed a battery. When they arrived we replaced them both. Within a week, both remotes were not working correctly because of the car's low remote battery warning.Did some research and found a warning about batteries on Amazon and they recommended the SONY brand. so I got these. They work great. Not happy about getting dead batteries via Amazon but very happy about this purchase.

Great product!!
Great product. I needed a replacement battery for my 2017 BMW 330i X-Drive. Worked as expected!!! Don't buy any other replacement batteries. These are the same that come installed in the key fob.
