I love this thing! We moved 18 months ago and decided not to bring our microwave because of counter space. I use it to steam microwave meals, to heat up leftovers, to steam veggies, I've been using it a few times a week minimum since I got it. And until today, had no complaints. Then as I'm shredding lettuce for the taco beef I hear a pop/shatter sound.... the lid shattered into the beef! Luckily it was only half so it didn't ruin dinner, but I have no idea why it happened. The water wasn't even boiling yet, nothing fell on it, I never dropped it, nothing! So now I'm left with an almost useless triple boiler! Can the company send me a new lid? If I have to re-purchase over some manufacturing defect I'm gonna be pissed. For now I'm using tin foil but that won't be convenient enough to keep using it. Other wise the pots were great. The bottom pot has a nice heavy bottom, the pan and basket were sturdy but light enough to transfer heat well, I really love this piece! Please make this right!
