This is the most adorable garden whirly gig. It took 20 minutes to assemble because my dexterity is poor, but it is solid, well made and truly sparks a smile. Guest always point it out and say it is so cute.

The media could not be loaded. Love this thing, it is beautiful, works great, i mounted the pole on top of my a/c unit, when the a/c goes on this thing moves fast. Love it, my grand kids want one too.

So they give you like 3x the screws and bolts that you need. At first I was a little worried when I assembled it and had so many parts left over. But it's been great. Yes you have to bend it a little bet to get everything to line up, but it's not at all egregious and it looks amazing. I've had it out for a week now and it's been perfect. It isn't really supposed to move like a weathervane, and I live in a windy area so it does unscrew from the base a bit. I will probably add locktite as another review mentioned. It's a great design and looks wonderful. I can't help but smile when I walk past it and hear the prop spinning in the wind.UPDATE: Well the base is incredibly flimsy and it unfortunately broke after a day with 20mph wind gusts. Guess this will have to sit on a bookshelf now.

Propeller assembly broke and fell off in 2 weeks. Material it is made of is extremely light and breaks very easy. Support rod does not stay straight and bends over in the breeze. Not suitable for outdoors.

This Piper Cub profile model is not a weather vane. When mounted on the supplied post, there is no means of rotation. It is fixed in place. It is a cute piece of garden art. The propeller bearing does not rotate freely. I oiled it with silicone lubricant and that helped a bit. The prop still hangs up in one spot. The prop pitch was negative and to shallow for rotation in a breeze, soI bent the sift sheet metal prop to about 45 degrees of correct pitch and it now sometimes rotates of the wind is strong enough. Several pieces required bending to get the screw holes to align during assembly. The Soft metal was easy to bend. Time will tell how well the painted finish holds up un the summer sun.

Husbands loves to watch his plane propeller spin in the wind. He can’t get out much and loves planes so a win win.

Well made, easy to assemble with a nice high quality paint finish. Love it!
