Please make sure that the metal prongs directly contact the skin under the dog's neck while using shock mode. (adjust the most comfortable collar length for your dogs. It is recommended to keep 1 thumb apart.) 2.If your dog is long and thick hair, please use the long contact points to make sure that the points can directly touch dog skin. My Shepherd likes to run around, this collar on the dog's neck is secure? Will it fall off?

I have two mini Australian shepherds that like to run and bark at anyone who is walking past our yard. This collar has helped change their behavior. I didn’t want a bark collar that sounded every time they bark because I want them to be able to use their voice when playing, when wanting to come in the house, etc. It has been helpful in stopping the excessive barking at and running towards delivery people, neighbors, etc.

Can this collar be used to train a dog not to run away??

I think if you show your dog his area, and buzz, beep or shock (last resort) when he leaves it, will probably work. And I've been told by a few people that after a while you can even just put the color on and they'll know that means to stay in their yard
