Motor doesn’t have the same rpm as stated my personal opinion
Price was very nice ,had the same specifications as my old one very quiet, the only thing I find is that it doesn’t seem to have the same rpm or speed as the old motor even dough it states same rpm but other than that a satisfied.

Perfect replacement for my attic fan
Be careful with the nuts for the power leads. Don't let them fall inside the motor

Used as Attic fan replacement motor
Works perfectly. You wire it one way for clockwise rotation and oppisite for counter clockwise. I got tgis to replace the motor for my whole house attic fan. The install was perfect and all holes lined up. Wired it using the nuts under the cover and attached the pully. Hit the switch and the fan spun up good as new. Saved a lot of money on Amazon for the exact same motor other stores wanted +$30.00.

Great motor
Quiet and powerful. You don't have to worry about it catching fire when you are not around. these have protection against that if something jams the motor from turning. Nicely manufactured and packed. they could have better instructions though- instructions are geared towards a mechanic in my opinion however there is enough there for a layperson if they use Google.

Built to last
I've used Dayton motors in my shop for over 5 decades. Heavy duty or light duty - it's easy to find one that suits your need. And they last forever. I have one that's been in use for over 40 years on my band saw. My father bought a vertical miller in 1959 and that does wear motors out but I'm only on the 3rd one in 63 years.
