A must if you are doing Chemo
These were recommended to me from my oncologist. These are great to use after Chemo. The quality of these are great. They are easy to use and get really cold. I have to use socks with these because they get a little to cold for me. I even bought the refill back so I can switch these out and have cold longer. Theses run a little large so I would order a smaller size. These have helped keep the neuropathy of getting bad. I have not had any trouble with the ice packs leaking. I also love the purple color.

Cold packs
I love the color. It does get cold, which is nice, but I do wish it will hold the coldness for longer than about two hours, but it does serve his purpose in that moment.

Cold booties
Easy to install ice packs. I pulled put the one inside the bootie....it was just too cold for my feet. Otherwise, seems to be ok

Helps with neuropathy pain
It helps with my neuropathy in my feet so much. At the end of the day my feet are burning and hurt so bad. This has been a life saver. Wish I bought it sooner. I've had neuropathy in both feet for about 12 years due to chemotherapy. This has made a huge difference with the pain especially at night when I used to have trouble falling asleep due to my feet being in so much pain.

Maybe worth it if you have the money but hard to tell
They are too expensive since you need multiple pairs for 4 hours worth of carboplatin and paclitaxol plus time to cool down before and some time after. The socks and gloves are pretty big on small hands and 7.5 ladies feet, but the straps keep them on or they would just slide around. After a couple of infusions and becoming more sensitive to cold, they were too cold to wear without extreme pain even with compression socks and 2 pairs of surgical gloves on inside them so I would put my hands and feet on top of them which was as much as I could stand. Neither the compression or cold were very effective. Neuropathy set in but maybe that would be more without the cold socks and gloves. No way to know. It was less during the 6 treatments than after they were are all done. Even with compression, cold socks and gloves (doctor recommended), vitamin B's and ALA before and through out treatments (doctor recommended), the neuropathy at the end is pretty painful. One nurse did tell me I was more devoted with using them than most people she had seen. I do like the color and they are soft. I machine washed them each time in a laundry bag and hung them to dry. They came out nice. Be sure to fold over the velcro onto itself while washing or storing so it doesn't pick the fabric. Honestly, you would come out better filling a cooler full of zipper bags with ice and using towels the infusion center will give you.

Helped during chemo
I got these to wear during chemo as they can help with neuropathy that you get from the drugs. They helped me. No neuropathy so far. Were easy to get on with help and stayed out well. Stayed cold for the time I needed. Chemo is just hard but these really helped!
