I bought this for my greenhouse in the hope that the self-coiling of the hose would tidy it up a bit.I didn't expect it to be suitable for outside but, although I have only used it in the greenhouse, it has proved to be much more durable than I expected. I bought the 75 ft version as my greenhouse is quite large and I expected the maximum extension to be measured in Chinese Optimistic Units but I was wrong and a smaller size would have easily been enough for the job.When you turn on the water the hose expands and correspondingly contracts after you turn it off but you need to empty the hose section (i.e. keep watering with the tap turned off) before it will contract and it holds a surprising amount of water.The fittings look to me to be brass coloured anodized aluminium rather than brass but both the fittings and the supplied gun have proved better than I anticipated, so while neither could be described as reassuringly heavy they have stood up to use rather well and no problem there.All told it would be fair to say my expectations were exceeded for once and I'm happy to recommend this.

Been using this for a while and it is extremely handy and tidy. Its not a heavy duty garden hose, it's a convenience. Mine weeps water from the beautiful brass fittings. In this case plastic fittings would have sufficed for the length of the life of the rest of it. The head is decent quality but, the soaker option doesn't work and I have good water pressure, you need water pressure to keep the hose open. Not the worst thing to have to hand when working in the garden. Also works on the pressure washer

Went to use this for the first time this year and it leaks in the middle of the length Purchased less than a year ago and stored dry through the winter very poor quality

We Loved it when we first used it , But has developed a leak half way down the Hose ? We would like to get in touch with the seller to get it sorted out and what to do next as we’ve only had it a few weeks ?? Please advise what to do ?? Thank you

Ordered this and had to send the first one back - it was damaged (see image) and the connection point would not stay on the tap. It soaked my wife when it suddenly disconnected.The second item is of the quality I would expect. Just the right length for our garden and appears robust. The hose pipe was in a plastic envelope which was not present for the first item.Would have given 5 stars if it was not for the first item. Be wary and check the connection points before you use it, in case the hose pipe flies off the tap and soaks your wife!!
