Easy to install, works great on older stereos that have aux input in rear
Worked great on my old school Sony Xplod radio from Japan installed in a JDM 1995 Nissan Skyline. Did not come with Bluetooth since it’s from 1999 but had auxiliary inputs in the rear. Used T taps and double sided tape that was already provided with kit. Mounted directly on top of the radio and linked up quickly.

Excellent product
OK, this product exceeded my expectations. While it does not come with an on/off switch, I added a low cost rocker switch, very easy to do. I use this on my sailboat stereo system. I wish I would have done this ages ago. Works fantastic. It is a good 25 feet from the BT adapter on the stereo to the cockpit. No problems at all. It even works when shutting the stereo cabinet door, flawless. I can now control what I play from the cockpit (Pandora streaming). It allows me to change the songs and adjust the volume. I keep the volume relatively high on the stereo and low on my phone (Pixel 5 btw). I can just increase the stereo volume by increasing the volume on the phone. I used a 5 amp ATC fuse off of the DC panel near the stereo. The sticky back is strong, no screws needed. I just cleaned the surface with alcohol first. The rocker switch also has sticky back. This was a 30 minute install job on the boat. Rarely do I ever get a boat project that is less than 1 hour. Happy customer. I was questioning the price at first but it is a decent value. High quality.

Made for a boat in the saltwater? NO!
worked great for a little over a month.....then started cutting out, now the connectors are totally corroded and is non functional. 30 day return policy....purchase with caution if you are putting this on a boat. Not technically made for a saltwater environment, it was mounted in a dry are in the center console.

Pleasantly Surprised - *Updated*
*** third update... The replacement worked great and hasnt stopped working. Bought another and it seems to be good.. must have just gotten a bad one. Would recommend it for sure.**Super bummed it stopped working in half the speakers and now carries a strong buzz in the speakers that do work. I double checked the wiring to make sure its still secure and correct and it is. Not sure if this is covered under whatever warranty they have but Im going to look into it.**Just installed and seems to work great! I'll update this review if we have any problems with it but it seems to work really great. No buzzing and super easy install. The only thing I wish they had was an explanation of lights on the unit. They mention the blue light but what does the red light mean? It seems to work well so Im not super concerned but would be great if the instructions were a little more comprehensive.

Works great, perfect addition to my classic car radio setup.
Instantly reconnects to my iphone each time the unit is powered on. I think some of the concerns about connecting the iphone happen with people connecting multiple phones maybe as it wants to connect each time to the last phone it was connected to. For me, I connected this once via the iphone (SE 2.0) setup and now when I power the bluetooth unit and hit play on iphone, the music plays through the stereo system immediately. This is exactly what I wanted.I also got one of those FM converters you install in-line with the car radio antenna and connected this bluetooth unit as the input to that. Skip the FM converter kind that plug in your power outlet and broadcast over air if you want it all hidden. This combo is all hidden, can have a separate power switch added if you want it separately powered, and it works perfect to allow use of my original car radio and speakers with very little trouble and minimal hardware to add behind the dash.

Great for Older cars
I have a classic muscle car and wanted to keep a stock dash with stock radio. I researched and read all reviews about the BT adapters and this one is true L+R stereo with very good range. Not all adapters separate stereo regardless of having L+R outputs, or even the BT amps, some are not true stereo.I use this with an outboard 600w amp, placed under the driver seat. My iPhone is my headend (my stock radio is non-functioning on purpose), with sirius, YT's or saved music. The BT adapter connects immediately every time without delay. This would also work with a functioning radio of course and you have the ability of turning on/off the BT connectivity.

Guaranteed Defect
It does what it’s supposed to do but apparently has a flaw across every one of these units according to the seller. You have to keep your phone at 75% volume or less or else it will distort no matter what the gain on your amp or volume on your stereo is at. Overall I’m satisfied I’m just kind of annoyed as I haven’t experienced this issue with any other adapters. If you can live with the flaw then go ahead and buy this, if not I’d look elsewhere.
