Color Me Shocked!!
In all honesty, I did not believe I would be able to notice much if any improvements in sound quality. I am 62 years old and I know I have loss some of my ability to hear higher frequencies. However, when I attached this dongle to my FiiO X7II and attached my 1MORE E1010 Quad Driver IEM and listened to some Hi-Res songs, I was shocked by the difference. There was a very noticeable marked increase the sound quality. The sound stage was much wider, bass was cleaner and everything over the entire frequency spectrum was improved. I noticed sounds from songs that I never knew were there previously even though I had listened to the same songs for many years. Some songs I had listened to over a hundred times and over multiple decades!! I can honestly state that using the Balanced Output is the only way anyone should listen to their music if they want to hear everything in the songs. In addition,, I could not hear any type of hiss or distortion in the background.The Dongle arrived in the stated time and came in a ziplock pouch. It is well made using gold plated connectors and oxygen free copper with half the wires silver plated. The 2.5mm male connector is made of all metal. The length is fine for my use but according to the manufacture they can make any length you require.I would recommend this Dongle to anyone with a compatible Hi-Res DAP and quality Balanced IEMs. I would definitely purchase this Dongle again.

HIFIMan RE-600 and Fiio X3-MARK III
Used it to plug my HIFIMan RE-600S (NON -STANDARD!) 3.5mom BALANCED headphone plug into my new Fiio X3-MARK III (STANDARD) 2.5mm BALANCED headphone jack. Works beautifully, and LOOKS like something made by Kimber Kable! I don't think you'll find ANYTHING else out there that'll do the job. (Not even from HIFIMan!!!)

Highly recommend.
Using the cable with a FIIO 1 Mark II amp and a set of balanced ear phones with a 3.5 mm plug. It is well made and works as it should. Highly recommend.
