Vikings: Season 4 Vol 2 (us) [DVD]

Looked all through the product description, photos, and reviews and couldn't find if this was the edition that included both the versions of the episodes that were aired here in the US and the extended, unrated versions, so I ordered and hoped.I'm extremely pleased to say that this set does include both versions, along with other special features.The quality of the discs is excellent and if you're looking at season 4 part 2 I probably don't have to tell you how spectacular this show is or how astoundingly talented the actors and crew are. Enjoy.

I adore the Vikings and have loved every second of this series. I even love the bad guys (male and female). I can hardly wait to see the next episodes of this series. Everything about it is exciting and makes me want more. The scenery is spectacular. I feel like I have gone back in time whenever I watch it. I become so absorbed with the characters I forget that this is a fictional work based on some actual facts. I love ever minute of the Vikings.

My husband fell in love with this series in the first episode. Warning it is very bloody and violent. Which is something that happened in our past. I am sure probably worse then they portray. However we feel they did a great job in this series and we can't wait for the next to stream. I waited a year to buy this as they were very expensive. I could wait no longer. Working on buying the entire series.

Hi, first part was boring and the plot was somewhat uninspired. I guess the writers have run out of ideas. Bjorn goes to the Mediterranean then turns around and goes home. The first Seasons were very good and entertaining. Never noted for good acting or speech patterns, this Season was really bad. If you have watched the last 31/2 seasons, like me , you will probably want to see this. Just don't get too excited by the glowing reviews.

Vikings is one of my favorite series, so this review is not critical of the show. The DVD video quality of this season 4 volume 2 set of DVDs are horrible. It's pixelated throughout. I own DVDs of the entire series to date with no complaints about the video quality, except this particular set. I've seen compressed ripped movies on YouTube that's higher quality video.

This is one of the best series, that I have seen in a long time. The Vikings are really interesting. I would have been a shield-maid, I believe (this would have been equivalent to serving our country in the military as a woman - USAF Veteran). I intend to own all the volumes. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and wanting to stay up too late to keep watching. Love it, love it, love it!

This continuation of the History Channel's soga Vikings is just as awesome as the past seasons. This is a must have for anyone into the Vikings series on TV. This isn't a true representation of the actual characters of the Viking era, but it is fantastic storytelling of Viking life. I highly recommend this series and this continuation of the series. If you are collecting the Viking series, this is a must addition.

The second part of the fourth season of Vikings is an interesting continuation that is putting new characters in the spotlight, ultimately to put them at the helm of the show, or at least make them more significant in the grand scheme of things. There are still more than enough interesting story development and action sequences to go around, making Vikings a very strong series, even at the end of the fourth season.

as i wrote previously on the first part of the final season, its a great watch and final run for what i think is an interesting action-filled series, the main characters are interesting, the settings spectacular, the costuming and weapons are great. if you like a historical type series about vikings with lots of blood and gore and all the miniplots and subterfuge this series is great for all that.I was sad to see the series end.this series was kind of a whole lot of stuff thrown together, family trauma and tradegy,great explorations,wars,feasting,sex,triumphs and failures all set in some of the most spectacular scenery since the lord of the rings series.

This happened on Season 5 too.here's what i wrote about that one. Same situation with this one:Some DVD's had fingerprints on them so thick I had to clean the cd's with eyeglass wipes. Very disappointed in Amazon. As a loyal customer I was shocked. Initially, I thought my DVD player was dying so I went to Best Buy to buy a blue ray player laser cleaner cd. When that didn't work I inspected the 'new' DVD. No, it wasn't my fingers.

Super excited to recieve this. Love the show and wanted all the seasons on DVD with the slip cover. This was the last one I needed to complete my collection. Unfortunately, this will be now my only season without a nice slip cover. I like my things to match.

Loved the first seasons until Ragnar was brought down by questionable failures. The writers have veered away from the historical saga of Ragnarand one has to suffer through discs of horrendous suffering on his part as well as those around him as part 2 unfolds. Season 4 is basically tragic.

All of the new actors are excellent and deliver a super performanceIt was surprising to see all of the time dedicated to the characters and their situationvs the fighting but a nice side step to make us appreciate the intrigues with the different players.Very happy with this series
