DELSEY PARIS Chatelet Air 2.0 Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Angora, 2 Piece Set, (24/28)

On a recent multi-city trip through Europe, I took the 28in check in with me and checked in for the first time since I started traveling. I'm a carry-on person and hate waiting for baggage claim beyond reason or dealing with the exorbitant fees that airline charges for them. It seemed highly impractical to choose a light color luggage on this trip but I like traveling in style, and it was easy to spot from the sea of black and blue luggages. While it may be pretty, it was also tough and durable. The wheels hold up over rough and uneven cobblestone alleyways, gappy concrete sidewalks and unpaved surfaces. It has more than enough room for a month's worth of wardrobe if you were to use packing cubes. The laundry bag that comes with it is too small but I used it for my shoes to prevent them from getting my clothes dirty. At the end of the trip, there were minor scuff marks but no major wear and tear though it had some pretty rough treatment. This luggage is worth the investment.

This set is absolutely adorable. It is so easy to use! I can pack two weeks of clothes in the bigger size and it rolls so well, even with fifty pounds of luggage inside of it. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but it is such good quality that the value is so nice.

UPDATE: The Delsey Paris customer service was phenomenal and shipped a brand new replacement suitcase to my door (in brown, as requested).. I simply submitted pics, the serial number, and the receipt. Im blown away by their responsiveness and generosity. I highly recommend this company.1: Cracked at the wheel attachment area after two years of use. Luggage repair place said this was game over. If the suitcase is cracked where the wheel attaches, there’s nothing to attach the wheel too, and the suitcases is useless.2: White color suitcase gets filthy after each use being on conveyor bolts at the airport and the baggage claim area. I had to scrub it down after every trip to keep it presentable looking.

Purchased February 2025 for trip to Hawaii. Handle of THIS style completely broke off the large suitcase while in Hawaii. Promptly returned the complete 2 pc set within my return window timeframe. So thankful it happened sooner than later. I loved this name brand because I have a Delsi carry-on that my daughter kept borrowing and it is absolutely well made but this version with the handles just barely tucked in with weak hardware inside the material is sub par and a complete disappointment! I need to go back to the other style where the handles are build with leather and visibly good hardware attached to the suites and buy the large one.

I LOVE the Chatelet 2.0 series from Delsey. I literally have every single piece except the pet carrier, garment bag and crossbody. This was a replacement purchase for my carry-on that was damaged the first time I checked it in 7 years (sob). Using in December. It’s so deep & roomy. I love the trunk style shape of it. I only need this 26” size trunk to travel. I like the narrowness and height of it too. The inside lining is made with beautiful yet sturdy material. Two nice storage bags came with it and they match the coral lining. There is also a hidden pocket for an AirTag. Each inside packing area also zips closed, keeping your cloths and items packed in their place. Once inside flaps are zipped up, each side also has huge, flat pockets with zippers to store more items. Rolls & spins so gently. It’s such a classy, beautiful piece of luggage. I’m thinking I may get a cover to protect it when I’m flying. This trip is a cruise so I’m driving to port. I cannot wait to fill it up and use it 👍
