Heaven Official's Blessing: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) Vol. 7 Paperback – September 12, 2023

I have never in my life come across such an artistic and beautifully explained romance with such rich and intertwined backstories. Literally do yourself the favor and buy all 8 at once. I managed to complete them in 1 1/2 weeks. It is so captivating, it will suck you in until you finally realize you haven’t been outside or spoken to another soul IN DAYS. Maybe read it with more moderation than me lol but I truly commend the writer for creating such an amazing baseline story and then weaving an absolutely heart-wrenching romance throughout. I loved it!

Possibly my new favorite book series. Would recommend trying these books. Read them in order though!

Well, if this wasn’t a ride. The book starts in the Kiln where Xie Lian and White No-Face are supposed to fight it out, but after the build-up of the previous book, it was over rather fast. A lot of action follows, as Xie Lian and Hua Cheng try to stop White No-Face’s plans to destroy humanity.And then, we finally learn the identity of White No-Face. I for one was gobsmacked. It was more interesting than learning what he wants with Xie Lian. Things get rather difficult for all gods, with an epic battle following. Everything rests on Xie Lian, but before he can find a solution, the book ends.This volume was full of action and not so much about romance. But Xie Lian is more comfortable with showing his emotions with Hua Cheng, and everything was cute and sweet. A lot rests on the last volume. I can’t wait to read it.

Been waiting on this for a long time and so excited to read! This is the only thing getting me through the long work week 😩😩✨Only downside is that the book came a bit damaged on the spine which caused some bent pages. For the most part, great condition though

So much happened in just 336 pages. White-No-Face was finally unmasked, and we got all of his backstory. He truly is such a great foil to Xie Lian. Those last 40 or so pages were jam-packed with action and characters, but it didn't feel rushed or confusing even if I got major anxiety because of all the problems that continuously arose. Also, smooches, there were so many, and Xie Lian and Hua Cheng were like teenagers in love, all mushy and flirty and dramatically melancholic whenever not together. I love them with all my heart. I was also surprised by Qi Rong actually accepting Guzi in the end.This story truly just evolves and sets itself up so well. I'm now excitedly, and also a bit sad to see it go, waiting for the final volume in November.
