Works great, perfect price
I used this on my Canon SL3, and never had an issue. Just plugged it in, and it worked! It's a little cheap feeling, but for the price I didn't expect anything crazy sturdy. For a cheap, plug in remote, you can't go wrong with this!

WOrks with Nikon D850
Hooked it up to my Nikon D850 and fired away, no issues. The extra-long cord can and will come in handy in tighter situations. No complaints at all.

Works okay
The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great. The remote acts like the camera shutter button. Half press to focus, full press to take a photo. The added extension cable allows you to move around and trigger the camera, never missing the shot. It has bulb function as well. The best part is this remote does not require batteries. The build quality isn’t the best and you may find the button to have a lot of wiggle room. Half pressing to focus is a bit tricky. Overall a good tool for the novice photographer.

Excellent complement to a Fujifilm X camera
Works well with my Fujifilm X-T2. Even allow focus peaking with the button partly depressed. Very pleased

Got this to make a remote trigger for a 3D Printer
Got this to make a remote trigger for a 3D Printer, so I had to cut up the wire to solder it to a limit switch that I stuck in the printer. Worked out GREAT! I also tested the small remote it came with and that worked just fine. Good deal for the price for sure for a no frills hard wired trigger.

Toyphotography game changer
I love this thing! The quality feels cheap, but I knew that going in. The range is good enough for what I need. Very easy to use. Connects easy.

not worth the money even at this price
I'm a professional real-estate photographer, and I use a remote shutter trigger to shoot hundreds of photos a day. Until recently, I was using a Phottix wired shutter trigger, but after tens of thousands of shots, the wires disconnected around the handle, and the shutter trigger would fire inconsistently, causing great frustration. I replaced it with the Kiwi shutter release because I liked the idea of being able to have an extra-long wire so I could keep myself out of mirror shots. However, from the first day, it was apparent that the connector to my camera port was a poor fit. It moved slightly in the port and would suddenly prevent my shots from appearing for review on the LiveView screen. (Yes, I always use a cord attachment to avoid putting strain on the connector and possibly wearing out the camera port.) Only after considerable giggling around could I get the Kiwi connector to work properly again. Then, a couple days ago, after just a few hundred shots, the Kiwi shutter release stopped working at all, and I have now retired it to my trash can. On the other hand, I still have the old Phottix trigger, even with its worn-out wiring, just in case my newest trigger should fail. That's how little I think of the Kiwi product. It's not worth the trouble at any price.
