A book full of mythicality and laughs
This book is everything I wanted it to be and more. Now I’d love to see a mythical kitchen cookbook!

They did their mythical best.
I'm a big fan of Rhett and Link, and their show, Good Mythical Morning. In fact, I've been a big fan dating even further back than that when I first saw their commercial for Red House Furniture on the internet so many years ago. I watched and enjoyed their short lived show, Rhett and Link: Commercial Kings when it aired on IFC back in 2010-2011 as well. These guys have a winning formula. Best friends since first grade, both with big entertaining personalities, they riff off each other and play to each others strengths and weaknesses in a way that only a lifetime of friendship can allow. And they are very funny. When I heard about the book coming out, I worried that it would be a largely unsubstantial offering of pictures and captions with no real cohesion or value in it. And it is. But it's also a surprisingly detailed look into the personal lives of these to "Internetainers,' with both of them writing individual segments to flesh out details of the bulk of the book written in a collective voice. They share entertaining stories of their childhoods and their friendship throughout the years, their formative years in high school and college, their marriages (the chapter on which has segments written by their wives and is in my opinion one of the more insightful and funny chapters of the book), and their overall philosophy of "Mythicality.'The book is filled with just an insane amount of pictures from all these aspects and time periods of their lives, and wonderful trivia and easter eggs for long-time fans of the performers and the show. And the book is really high quality too. Nothing was scrimped on here. A great, solid, well bound hard cover with beautiful glossy page stock filled with colorful images and well designed and laid out text.Oh yeah, and it smells great too (if you're into that kind of thing). If you're already a Mythical Beast (the term Rhett and Link use to refer to their fans), then this book is a no-brainer. You're going to love it. If you only have a passing interest in the duo, this book will likely make you into a fan. If you've never heard of these guy and have no idea what all the fuss is about, then read this book anyway.

Just hilarious
If you’ve ever seen Good Mythical Morning you know exactly how this book reads. It’s silly. It’s hilarious. It’s very enjoyable. Kindle isn’t the best format for reading it, though, because of all the handwritten things and charts and other fun stuff. They are extremely hard to read on an eink Kindle, so I would suggest reading on a Fire or other device so you can increase the size of the pictures or get the paper version. I highly recommend this book to Rhett and Link fans.

You know what time it is
Let's talk about that.Only as far as chapter 4, but is an entertaining read.My wife enjoys watching youtubers and we have a couple of other books by famous/infamous youtubers and, no surprise here, Rhett & Link's book is much more substantial. Each chapter appears to be personal anecdotes about their lives and life-long friendship, followed by some funny visuals to break up the monotony of reading words (because you know, for some actual reading is a chore). For example, in comparison, one of Alfie Days' books has the substance of a child's coloring book (tbh, I think a child's coloring book would be less pedantic) and Miranda Sings' book is a big book of visual gags. The Book of Mythicality easily bests either book.Would be hard, I think, to convince non Rhett & Link fans to read this, since why would they care about these guys if they never heard of them. If you could convince someone to read, it might could lead them to eventually checking out Good Mythical Morning. Though more than likely, you'd probably tell a non-fan to watch some youtube vids first then come back to the book.Overall as a daily watcher of the GMM show, the book is well worth the measly $12 I paid for it. (Side note, I bought the hardback. Notice most poor reviews are for audiobook or digital version). Shoot, a pack of cigarettes in NYC cost more than this book.

I've been watching Good Mythical Morning on YouTube for a couple years now ...
I've been watching Good Mythical Morning on YouTube for a couple years now and I continue to be amazed at the odd and crazy ideas that these two, and their mythical crew, regularly come up with. I became hooked to the show they very moment that I stumbled upon one of their Will It? episodes. The show was full of crazy antics, scientific experiments, disgusting food, and a tons of fun. My husband and I started watching the show together daily and now my four year old even loves Rhett and Link.If you're a fan of Good Mythical Morning or just curious about ways to make your life a little more mythical, I definitely recommend the Book of Mythicality. There's tons of fun content, hilarious tales of their childhoods growing up in Buis Creek, North Carolina, hijinks and experiments they've done for YouTube and ways to improve your relationships, friendships, and just your life in general. It's a fun reminder to not take yourself too seriously and to just enjoy the process of life while you're living it.I can't wait to see what else Rhett and Link have in store for the Mythical Beasts.Rating: 5 Stars

Hilarious book from a hilarious duo
I have been a massive fan of Rhett & Link for years, so when I found out that they were releasing a book, it’s safe to say that I was very excited (I’ll try my best not to write a completely biased review, though).Being a long time fan of the two, I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t mainly excited for the stories from them growing up together. This book contains the perfect balance of tomfoolery from their childhood (right up to their present selves) to comical little titbits to sum up the hilarious people they are.Even if you’re not a fan of these two, I would still recommend this book. Anyone can be inspired by the dream life that these internet comedians have built up over the years. And hopefully, it will inspire you to have more mythicality in your lives.

Good Mythical Morning Fan Service
My copy came with a few creases on the hardback, but perhaps that was to do with the shipment from wherever this product was dispatched all the way to the United Kingdom.Either Way, Rhett and Link's Book of Mythicality is a charming book that any fan of Good Mythical Morning and Rhett and Link can relate to. It's filled with trivia about their lives, the things they get up to, and quirky, dymanic facts and opinions. It's difficult to summarise what's in this book adequately with a simple sentence, but again, fans of GMM will probably relate to it more than those who aren't familiar with Rhett and Link.I'd recommend it though for sure. It's something you can dip and dive into without reading it from cover to cover.

Fan of the show, not of the book
Sorry guys, but it was an autobiography style thing without the gossip and some of the bits I'd already heard in the show. Other parts that were meant to be mythical just felt like filler. It's a high quality book in terms of the feel and picture quality, but as a book itself I felt bored and to be honest disappointed.

GMM Book
I bought this as a gift for my sister who is a fan of the GMM show. Whilst the book is a bit too much for me in terms of content, it made a nice funny gift and it is unique.

If you love the show, you need this book:)
Love the show. Great book. Love it.I have to confess though its not quite what I was expecting, I was expecting more about the show, however they talk a lot about themselves and their experiences growing up and how the show came to be, it is a great read, if anything knowing more about them has made their show even better to watch.Would heartily recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the show.
