IT WORKED!!
We used the fireproof envelope to protect money in our motor home, in case of fire. THEY WORKED! Our motor home burned to the ground last Wednesday 7/18/18. Our cash and passports survived!We had doubled the envelopes, using a smaller one on the inside and this larger black one on the outside. My husband believes that doubling the bags helped everything survive. The outside bags were damaged, but the inside bags looked untouched. Sturdy Exterior, Quality Design - 5 Stars!
Very high quality document bag! Exterior coating is smooth and clearly quite durable, and the velcro band is very thick and can be strongly secured.I didn't go so far as to set the thing on fire to test it, but based on the material's sturdiness and the overall design, I'd say my documents are safe in here.

Misleading size...
This product is high quality, but I was disappointed by the actual size. The listing states 11.5" x 9", but it will not fit a standard letter 8.5" x 11" sized document. I contacted the seller, they were very accommodating, and offered a steep discount on a larger Bag, but they don't currently make a larger bag (in development). Overall great product, but the size is misleading.
