Moves as well as can be expected. And decent stickers
Really fun puzzle. This occasionally catches due to the small triangle pieces in the puzzle, but a little lube really helps. I havent had any pops or stickers come off after about 20 solves! Good puzzle

Not for everyone, it will fall apart, but it's not hard to put back together, and the solve is interesting
This puzzle is not for everyone, it will break at some point pieces will fall out and you will have to put it back together. However it is a pretty nice puzzle considering the mechanical problems, I personally like and if does break it's not to hard to put together I put it back together after it completely fell apart and it took only a half an hour and I would be able to do faster knowing that taping the edges helps greatly in the rebuilding process as I tried for for about 10 mins without tape with no progress. As for the solve I am mix on it as it was not as hard as it first seems, and the catching is annoying but once you get use to the movement, it is pretty good. I would of say if this was sticker less it would be better as I am worried about the sticker as they are wearing out on the small triangles. It would be nice to have a sheet of stickers to replace them, and some extra small triangle pieces as they are the hardest to find if you have a bad break.

Not made for playing with!
This was just another one I bought to add to my collection, but after CAREFULLY trying out the rotations - which didn't quite rotate like I thought it did, 7 pieces popped out - and some are very tiny! As I was trying to piece it back together, I discovered a tiny piece I missed, so I had to remove the ones I had laid in there. Took about 15 minutes to finally get it back in place. I put it back in it's container and put a warning sticker on the outside. UGH

The real challenge is putting it back together
Solving the Pitcher Octo-Star by Calvin's Puzzles is a bit like diffusing a bomb. One wrong move can spell disaster, and quite unexpectedly. So it is with this beautiful, but tragically flawed puzzle.It turns okay as a 3x3 but once you get into the shapeshifting (45 degree turns) BEWARE! You may trigger the bomb and the whole puzzle will explode into a million pieces! (See last photo) You can rebuild the puzzle, of course, but it's frustrating and time consuming to have a half hour of solving literally shattered by a catch during rotation. The novelty of the design makes me want to love this puzzle, but the sheer frustration of having it dissolve in my hands (it's happened twice) makes me hate it.Add to that these smaller stickers have already started to fall off after one solve, it really seems like this one is sadly more of a shelf piece. 😑

It's ok
The puzzle is ok fun, but it moves terribly. I get that it is because all of the pieces. The other problem though, is that it falls apart to easy and it is not fun at all to put it back together.
