Can this be used to Jump Start my car??

No way will this help to Jump start a car. If you allow it to charge the battery then let the battery start the car it will have done its' job. When a starter on a car engages the cranking mechanism of the car it draws hundreds (greater than 300 and probably closer to 400) AMPS. The charger cannot supply anywhere near that kind of current. The charger can supply 1000 ma (that's milliamps which = so, .001 amp. X1000 = 1 Amp. To try and start a car with this charger may likely damage it. Hope this helps.

I have a 92 f350 diesel that has two batteries. Can I hook this up to one side and it will keep both battries charged?

GMC 2500 Duramax, two 900 CCA AGM batteries. I connect the positive to one battery and the negative to the other battery (used an extension). Works great, keeping both batteries at same level. I dk if that is in series or parallel, it just works. And no, you can not just connect to one battery and charge both.

Do I need to disconnect my car battery, or can I just add the clamps to the installed battery?

My car battery went dead in the cold due to not using it during a severe cold spell. Put charger on it with the battery clamped. 24 hours later, battery charged up and car started.
