I let the videos get the best of me and I ordered these and they are a zero out of 10!!! They taste like plastic packaging if that makes sense Not spicy they’re just horrible!! And you cannot return or get refunded at all!!! They might look good and enticing on them videos, but they are definitely not what you expect

Any negative reviews likely haven't had this before. It is oily and tastes of Sichuan peppercorn, which is what latiao is supposed to taste like. If you like Sichuan hotpot, this is what it tastes like. If you haven’t had it before, I would recommend ordering a sample pack of 3.

It’s sweet, a little spicy and really greasy (which was expected). What wasn’t expected was the subtle taste of unclean foot! I should have listened to the reviews and not bought it. It comes with 4 packs and I threw them all away which I feel terrible for doing but after 4 strips, I was done. My mouth oddly tastes like metal after eating it, mildly terrifying nothing crazy. Overall I do not recommend. I could see how it would be a good snack if you grew up on it but definitely had some kind of spice in it making it smell and taste a little rank. Not something the American palette can recognize. 4/10.

I took it upon myself to see if I have the acquired taste to eat this and may I say that to whoever said it tastes like a spicy sponge, you were right... It isn't too hard to bite into but rest assured it is definitely spicy and not salty. The smell is nothing i've ever smelled before. I'm not writing this as hate on the makers of this snack but just giving as much detail as i can to anyone wanting to try this.

These types of snacks come in a huge variety of textures. This has a sort of spongy texture, and a slightly sweetish flavor. The spongy texture does make it slightly oily, but I think this is one of the better variations of this snack which I have tried.

taste great! smells a bit like curry, and the texture is a little like bread soaked in chili oil. i've been wanting to try this for years and i finally got to! i did expect it to have a slight crunch, but it's pretty soft and chewy! the picture i attached is of only one bag, but i did receive five in the mail :)

I saw this on tiktok and just had to buy! It looked sooo yummy. I got them and tried them and let me tell you. TERRIBLE! it’s NOTHING like you would expect it to taste like. Save your money.
