I am using a good Amplifier but after this preamp my DIY seems to be branded luxury Audio. Using with transformer so little hissy sound appears but not audible at normal volume. Better to use with SMPS double DC if possible for low hissy sound

This preamp is noisy and creates significant hiss.The overall sound quality is not good, it sounds dry and crackling sometimes as if there is a gain mismatch somewhere.The Mid control does not cut mids that much. It starts high already and by halfway it has added too much mid already.As this is smd board I can't even modify to see what could be fixed. Better to buy a simple preamp with through hole components and using TL082 op amps. They are noiseless and easy to modify if you do not like the boost/cut freq or range.

Capacitors not good quality. Very poor quality Capacitors use this board.
