Good story lines but endings are predictable as you read through the series.

Enjoyed this book tremendously. Gripping storyline

Once again Helen has written a book which had me on the edge of my seat and it was a proper page turner.Detective Morgan Brookes is again in the thick of it, trying to find out who is guilty of at least one or more brutal murder. Her relationship with Ben is still going well but she is not a fan of every police officer in Rydal Falls.I have read all of Helen's books and loved them.

Its a gripping story, with an unexpected ending

Ive read all the available books by this author and each one adds something new for the reader to get stuck into, it may be more depth to the main characters, it may actually be more characters to a book or a bit more suspense as the build up begins but this one.. this book feels super charged...suspense, twists, you get a real feel for the characters, the description of what is going on is done so well you really can get a good sense of imagination that throws you into the story. Perfect :) .The only down side is that no matter how long or short a time it will take for another book to come out by Helen Phifer it will feel like forever waiting :)

I have read every book so far in this series. They are a great read!

I’m not sure what other words best explain how great this book is. It was a thrilling ride from the highs to the lows to the highs just like a roller coaster ride. It took everything in me to not read it in one sitting. I wouldn’t have stopped but my eyes just closed from sheer exhaustion late in the night. I loved this book!

Same old Morgan different casesMorgan and Ben are called to the church graveyard where a body was discovered in a ditch. While the team searches for the murderer, another girl goes missing. One of their own is missing and the search is on, before time runs out.A few new characters make an appearance, and I liked what they added to the team. I don't know if they will be back, but some guest appearances would be nice.Yes, Morgan again gets stuck with the killer even though she tries her best and everyone around her is warning her and watching for her. She just can't help it; she is a danger magnet.If you haven't read Morgan Brookes, I highly recommend this series. You could start this series here at book #7, but I feel it would ruin a lot. You wouldn't be lost if you did though.I didn't mention Declan yet, but he is one of the kindest souls to deal with the dead I have ever read. He has the most caring bedside manner.Love Morgan Brookes, and you will too!

Another amazing page turner. I have been hooked from book one and ready to get onto the next! So glad I came across this series.

I've read this series continuously and although the words depict graphic and horrible murders of people, Morgan's story is very interesting and exciting. Ready to read more!

The ending was a bit confusing. I hope Morgan isn’t pregnant because she was feeling ill throughout the book. Foreshadowing?
