I read this book almost non- stop!! And I tell you, it was worth every minute of sleep I missed.It delivers on all fronts, a REAL psychological thriller!!!

Pretty good story — found myself getting irritated at one of the characters. She was kinda predictable in her stupidity but I guess that’s what makes a story.

**Audiobook Review**This book was ok. I liked the storyline, but the main character was annoying. I enjoyed the suspense and her friend was great. Overall the book was ok.

I will say this as a warning (no spoilers)... the first 25% of the book was a little tedious to get through. It was just day to day issues, therapy visits, rinse and repeat.However, I pushed through. I am so glad I did. Even though I thought I had figured it all out, I was incorrect. The plot twists and turns are worth it.The characters are extremely developed and have layers and depth to them. You often don't see that.Press on. It gets better! Fantastic book. No grammatical errors spotted, which was also refreshing.

This was a fun book to read. Kind of cheesy in places, but still fun. I only liked one character, and he didn’t show up until the end of the book, but that’s ok.

Charlene was out to dinner with her husband. A thief killed him for their wallet and purse. They were so in love. Just started out. She had to go into therapy. Her therapist is Dr. Neal. They talk almost every day. She won't go out of the house. She won't go for walks. She is a mess. She has a on line friend, but still doesn't leave the house. This was a fantastic book. I could not put it down. If you like a thriller you'd like this one.

This book Captured from attention from Chapter 1. The twists & turns will leave the reader turning the page for just one more chapter. This is an excellent thriller and I highly recommend this book to others who enjoy this genre!

This is the first fiction book I've written a bad review for, mostly because I am a nice person and try to find SOMETHING to appreciate in each book I read. This book, mostly notably the protagonist, had me wanting to smack someone. I really tried to feel sorry for Charlene, but between her talking about how she had so much money she could do whatever she wanted for the rest of her life ( not one thought of using it to help others ) and her insufferable self pity and lack of basic common sense, I feel she deserved to be taken advantage of. This book was rediculous and hard to get through. I finished it to find out how it would pan out and when I saw the ending I was just plain disgusted. This book was more of a cheesy romance novel than any kind of thriller.

I stopped reading this less than 100 pages in.Our main character is lamenting how sorry she feels for herself.Enter attractive male - first date and he starts commenting / leading conversation regarding $$ and seems confused by her answers - he’s obviously interested in that, not her.Maybe the story gets better. But her whining and the obvious finance scam angle made this a no from me. I gave it 2 stars only because I didn’t finish it. Maybe it gets better.

Really great reading would certainly recommend

A good thriller with an interesting story line. However some sections were overdone and felt more like a introspective counselling section. I was able to skim past a lot of these pages without impacting the storyline. A little more editing would have made it a tighter story.

The main character was so annoying drowning in self pity.She does what she wants without any consideration for others.Naive and clearly disregarding all the red flags . Some childish parts that were over the top.I had to finish this book to see what happened.It was an ok read , not a favourite.
