Good product but not enough glue
I purchased this product for my 12 year old Standard Poodle, Ruby. It works extremely well. I’m very happy with it. It’s a bit pricey to only lasts a week. There are maybe two weeks worth of product. For the cost there should be at least enough for a month. I think I did a good job applying it. I did however accidentally glue my fingers together. Lol. My daughter said it looks like cat litter on her paws. I really wish it came in colors. It’s blue on the box cover. It’s only been one day since I applied to her paws. Hopefully it lasts longer than a week.

Be careful when applying! My dog now has an infected wound on paw.
Product is a good idea but I found no way to safely apply with a dog that wont stay still for it. Used it 3 times over 2 weeks. First 2 times I was lucky enough to get some on the pads properly and it helped him get traction on the floor. However it only lasted a few days then was gone and he was slipping again. The third time I used it, he just didn't want me handling his paws and when applying glue to the back pad, he was jerking and moving and the glue ran off his back pad onto the adjacent skin. When the sand was applied, it created a patch of almost cement with sharp edges up against the skin with no room to cut off. Within 2 days, all product disappeared off pads but this patch would not release. I contacted manu. (email only, no phone number) and to their credit they responded quickly but their suggestions did not work. 1st: emery board. 2nd time I contacted, suggestion: cut it out at groomer. 3rd contact: warm soapy water 10 min. None of these worked. Tried acetone on cotton ball, vaseline, olive oil. Was hoping hair would grow out and allow dog clippers to safely remove. Now 2 weeks later hair still hasn't grown enough and he has an open wound with infection from this foreign object still stuck. I put triple antibiotic on a gauze pad and wrapped his foot for 24 hrs and its starting to loosen up. He's now on oral antibiotics to fight the infection and will go into Vet now. Words of wisdom, if you have a dog that doesn't tolerate paws being handled, this product can get messy in the application and sadly this product can be dangerous for your dog.

Works well. Doesn’t last long. Waaaaay overpriced.
I put this on my dog’s main pad on his rear feet. It DOES help him to navigate the slippery wooden floors. Be careful not to over apply the goop. One issue is the tubes are rigid, too rigid to easily squeeze goop out for application. You end up spending a lot of time trying to squeeze the tube when you should be trying to hold your dog’s foot. So that’s a problem. The product either needs to be half the price, or they need to provide twice the material: goop plus traction material. I’ll bet margin is around 75% on this. But there’s no competitor…

small amount in total and dont last for a week
I have 12 years old Great Swiss Mountain dog her paws are very big.Got this product and there is my review about it .Positive - easy to apply and it works ,it made a big difference in my "oldies"walking straight away ,prevents paws from slipping .Negative - hight price ,small amount of adhesive and powder for large paws - it lasted for us only for 5 applications ,also it will not stay on for 7 days as described, you have to reapply after 5 days .

A good idea, but not practical! Newfie disaster...
While this product seems to have merit, I suspect it is best for small dogs and applications where one person can hold the dog while the other applies the product. I tried this with my 150lb Newfie two different ways, once while the dog was lying down, and once while he was standing. Lying down the problem is how to get his paw into the grit tray, since you can only twist the paws so far. I tried hand-applying the grit and ended up covered with gobs of glue and grit that took forever to get off. When I tried the standing method, I couldn't get the glue out fast enough for him to hold his balance on three legs, and a couple of times when he put his paw in the grit tray his paw stuck to the tray! Then he'd yank his paw and the tray, and grit went absolutely everywhere. Both ways ended up spotty coverage for the dog and glue and hair stuck all over me. A couple of suggestions for improvements: the tiny glue containers are totally impractical for larger dogs. One glue stick is barely enough to get coverage on ONE Newfie paw, and you have to apply it so fast it is hard to get the glue evenly on the paw pad. The window of time you have between applying the glue and adding the grit is just too short for such a big paw - by the time I put glue on the last pad, the first one was already mostly dry (and he wasn't going to stay still to do every pad one at a time!). If there were a larger type of glue applicator, like something flat and pad-sized that you could dip the paw in all at once, it would be a lot easier to get the glue on in one shot. Or maybe a roll-on glue method? Similarly with the grit tray, if there were a way to apply grit while the dog is lying down (e.g. the paw is upside down) that would be waaaaay easier. Good idea, but needs some more refinement to be practical.

Your product has helped my 14 yr old weimaraner immensely. When your product wears off she starts walking very very slowly and becomes nervous of floors again. When she has Pawfriction on, she walks with confidence again. It is very noticeable. I find that each application last about 5-7 days there is enough grainulars in the package for about 6 total applications. I do find that I run out of the glue before I run out of the blue grainulars. Thank you for making a great product.

Was really helpful for our dog when he was having back problems. Helped keep his traction on our floors.

Product wears off within 1 day. I found my dog was slipping and sliding more with in on. I would not use again. It is a waste of money☹️

I have an elderly small breed dog. The granules doesn’t really stick, and 80-90% falls off in 48hrs. The glue I received is expired, maybe that’s the reason? Won’t be trying this again, not worth the money.

Great idea but unfortunately too expensive as it doesn’t stay effective more than a few days. One pack only lasted a couple of weeks of effective use.
